Rundown house grossly overpriced. Mildew. Chipped paint in every room. Missing light bulbs. No outdoor light. Smelled like bug spray. Dirty dishes. Damaged cabinets. Mismatched furniture. I’ve rented really nice homes in San Diego for less.

Good for what we needed. Visiting town for a graduation. Strong smell from cleaning supplies upstairs but not bad. Everything was decent. Would stay again in a pinch!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn other travelers.The property and surrounding neighborhood were nothing like what we expected from the listing. Upon arrival, we found ourselves in an area with numerous homes featuring bars on the windows, extensive security cameras, and a level of visible deterioration that made our family feel genuinely unsafe. We had planned to stay several nights but made the difficult decision to leave immediately rather than risk our safety.Because it was already late in the day, we lost the money we had paid for this rental and had to spend additional money securing last-minute hotel accommodations elsewhere. What should have been an enjoyable family trip became an expensive and stressful ordeal.We contacted both the host and Vrbo immediately after deciding not to stay, but the experience left us extremely disappointed. While everyone's comfort level is different, I believe travelers deserve an accurate representation of both the property and its surroundings so they can make an informed decision before booking.If you're considering this property, I strongly encourage you to research the neighborhood carefully and not rely solely on the listing photos and description. I wish I had done more homework beforehand, and I hope this review helps someone else avoid the financial loss and stress that my family experienced.

Pictures make this house appear more presentable then it is. We arrived and the maintenance guy was there replacing a water line. Delaying check in a few hours. No propane for grill,No condiments ,no seasonings very few pans or amenitiesBlack mold in bathroom. Whole house Poorly cleaned before we arrived.

Kentucky Derby Trip

Location wasn't too far from downtown or Churchill Downs. Short drive to anywhere we desired to go. Home was spacious and accommodated our needs. Could have been a bit cleaner. Odor in all the carpets and some stuff didn't work 100% correctly like the kitchen faucet and shower. A lot of handles came off the kitchen cabinets as they were missing screws. Not many cups/plates.

This is a property that lists better than it actually is. Terrible and scary neighborhood, garbage cans left in yards for many weeks, garbage dumped in street in front of house that was never moved, house smelled old and musty, some appliances did not work, beds were uncomfortable and very worn, upstairs AC unit was duck taped into place, Carpets are very dirty and worn, when we arrived the yard had not been mowed for several weeks, the remotes for the TV's either did not work or were missing batteries. The TV's hung crooked in every room, several of the lamps did not have lamp shades. More too list but out of time and patience.

Nice place- poor communication

Overall the property was nice. Pros- clean, green space, quiet neighborhood, lots of sleeping space. Cons- communication with the property manager was very difficult (we asked to modify our dates if it did not cause a penalty and he went ahead and modified our trip anyways and when I asked to reset the dates back to our original trip it took literally a month or more of back and forth to make that happen so as long as you don’t need to make any adjustments your trip will go well), and a few things needed repair (ice and water machine were broken on fridge- they did leave ice for us, but on a sign on the fridge they said they left water for us, but didn’t actually) and the front screen door was broken so nothing too major just more minor inconveniences.

College Football Trip

Came in for a college football game. The pictures look really good but the house was very smelly. The place was not very clean and had an odor. We had to go to the store and buy Lysol/frebreeze. It did not help. My family and I only stayed one night and left the next day. The shower was not working well and was leaking. The backyard was not well kept and most of the blinds were very dusty. The neighborhood looks sketchy but no one bothers you. The neighborhood ended up being ok.
