Emerald Coast Beach Condo

Great property on the beach. Everything was just as pictured or provided in the description. Communications with the property manager were easy, clear and prompt. The kitchen was well equipped and they even provide sands toys for the kids and beach chairs and umbrella through a vendor on the beach. Good location, easy parking and wonderful view from the balcony. Would stay here again!

PERFECT PLACE

We were so very plaesed with our stay in this condo. The view was perfect, it's on the 5th floor, so you're high up enough for a great view of the gulf, but low enough to still people watch! It's located right over the resort's two pools which would have been perfect for us to keep an eye out on our two teenage kids had they been with us. The room was clean and everything was so nicely decorated. The bed in the master room was a little uncomfortable, but tolerable. We loved this unit so much that we are planning on booking a week long stay there next summer!

Amazing

Everything was great. We enjoyed everything. However, we do recommend replacing the coffee table with something a little more safe for small children. The glass top moved very easily and the corners scrape you as you walk by (even for adults).At times we were afraid the glass top would fall and break. Other than that the stay was flawless.

Great location and easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again. Two suggestions: there are no umbrellas at the pool. So no shade! A handrail in the shower would be nice. Overall great place!

Waters Edge 507 is a GEM and we love being able to share this one bedroom with our visitors. We're so glad you didn't run into issues while you were here, we truly want every one of our guest to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Mattress comfort is extremely difficult to get just perfect for every single guests as it's such a personal preference. But we'll make sure it's up to standards and functionality is still good. We loved the view of the ocean! Pools were great for the kids and not over crowded. Kids loved the TVs in each of the bunk beds. Also having a code for the door was great, not worrying about a key. Beach service was a hit! We would vacation to this exact unit again!

Waters Edge 507 is the best!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to submit your feedback from your stay in this condo, it's really lovely and the upgrades are wonderful to enjoy. The bunk bed TV's are custom and the condo owner has to opt to install these, thank you for pointing these out they are a true extra amenity you get when you rent this condo. There's nothing better than being able to get the kids their own TV's and beds so they can enjoy what they want while you enjoy what you want in the Gulf front living room (or balcony even) Enjoying morning coffee or afternoon drinks has never been so amazing!! Thank you for all your kind comments, please come see us again for another stay in paradise and more memories to last a lifetime!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was tastefully decorated and very clean. The location in the building was good I that you are not directly over the pool which means it is quieter. Waters Edge building is a great one in that it has a huge pool and half is heated. Unit had great extensive supply of dishes. Having to return to the booking office the next day to officially checking before noon was annoying but the staff there were friendly.

Thank you for your feedback, it's much appreciated! We are sorry for the awkward office hours we had over Thanksgiving week for your arrival. Unfortunately we do ask all our guests to come to our office for a quick check-in, we are gradually changing to paperless but it is a process and takes time to get everything running smoothly before we can be solely online check-in. We are only a minute or two down Hwy 98 from the Island, we hope this helps you keep a positive outlook on our check-in procedures and thank you for your kind remarks. Waters Edge property is located perfectly in the middle of OKaloosa Island, making it easy and quick to get coffee and the paper at the neighboring Tom Thumb convenience store. The owners of this condo are awesome and they love updating and keeping all guests happy. All new appliances now fill the kitchen and it honestly gives it the perfect updated feel. We appreciate you staying with Brooks and Shorey Resorts for your Thanksgiving getaway, please take advantage of our repeat guest discount and come back whenever you can!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time here. The layout of this condo was perfect for my family! The only issue was that we decided prior to our arrival someone must have had possibly an animal of sorts inside. There was NO odor or anything like that. Just Mine and my son's allergies went bizerk the first night and that following day. They cleared up after that and all was well. The place was clean, very nice!
