The host was awesome. She accommodated our large group and was very responsive when messaging. House had everything we needed. Easy to find. The kitchen’s had lots of pots, pans, bowls, plates and cutlery.

Lovely views, friendly host

Happy to find a property that allowed our whole family to stay including our dog. The views were lovely. The property was just as listed. The host was easy to reach and lovely.

Very sneaky on the description of the hot tub made it sound and look very large and comfortable Freezer and water on the fridge door not working.Upstairs washing machine has mold and smells of it too Was told to park as close to white trailer in driveway as the other half of the duplex was rented also. But they sure didn’t do the same. Wanted to leave a “nice” and leave a note thanking them blocking the driveway.House was nice and convenient to Calgary and Banff along to the attractions at the parks.

Family Wedding

Not really as advertised, BBQ wasn’t functional, AC was only in 1 room upstairs. There was a large enclosed trailer parked in front of the house taking up very limited parking space. Yard was in rough condition, over grown & and unkept. The dinning room table on the main level had a very sharp corner as well. The host was friendly & approachable, but overall rating of the property would be a 3/5

Hello David, thank you for your feedback. I will definitely look into right away the Sharp area on the table. The barbeque on the lower level was very functional as I was working through getting the upper one repaired. I also offered to bring in another barbeque and I was told that one on the lower would be sufficient. ...the upper it did work, we just had to put the top grates back on, it had to be lit it with the barbeque lighter. The barbeque was repaired and cleaned as soon we had full access...We overhauled all the other barbeques and cleaned them. It was never advertised as full air conditioned house only the main suite bedroom. However as of Thursday, July 17 I am getting air-conditioning installed for the whole home. We never did find the remote control, we did find the Braun carafe broken. It would have been nice if you had let us know. As we had to quickly order a new one. And exchange that one until the new one arrived. As I said before these things happen... The backyard could not be mowed as it rained every day. It was mowed while you were here. As the hot tub that you finally could use after the previous Airbnb guests, was full of the fresh cut grass from your grandchildren enjoying it...It took me another two days to clean it after.:) They had fun, that was important :) I only offer one parking space for the guest and that was provided for you. Again thank you for choosing to stay with me and I will look into the table right away! Thank you Rosanne

Great Views, Great Potential

The location of this property is great, the neighbourhood is a quiet, family neighbourhood and felt very safe. The view is fantastic, 10/10. The only annoyance here was the construction on Highway 22, made getting to and from a bit of a pain but nothing the host can do about that.The property itself is okay, it was clean and in mostly good repair, save for a cabinet or two with door problems. The 2 barbecues need to be completely gone through, they're quite run down and the one off the kitchen needed work to even be functional (which our host promplty took care of, to get it half working. Kudos!) The wifi was fantastic ( 200MBPS on my phone). The furnishings have seen better days. There was a hot tub and firepit that looked great but after a day in the heat, a hot tub or fire wasn't appealing to us so we didn't try them out.The biggest issue we faced being that it's July was the lack of air conditioning. When we were shopping for a Vrbo, I am certain it said Air conditioning. Either I missed it or it was added after the fact that the Air conditioning was only a portable unit in the master bedroom upstairs. For the cost paid, this was a significant disappointment. Our host was fantastic and acknowledged the need for A/C and said they would look into it. They helped anything they could and were very communicative.Overall it was an OK stay, with a little sprucing up, this place can be a fantastic place to stay.

Hello Matt I thank you for the kind words and encouragement for the sprucing up required. I do my very best in trying to keep up with this year's guests and the items that have been missed, broken or misplaced. These are pet friendly properties. There are scratches on the furniture... However I would like to add, that I have no issue in renting to pets it's usually some pet owners who do not look after them, leave them unintended, especially when they have anxiety being in a new place. The door latch in the lower kitchen took two minutes to repair we did not know it was broken as it was kind of hidden before. The chair in the master bedroom was to be replaced I was waiting to get in there to do it. And the chaise lounge has been replaced as we have to repair the bottom area of a pet ripped out the bottom lining. Our sofa is also now being repaired underneath. I did want to address that the person(s) staying in the lower suite was smoking in the doorway, and we had to pick up numerous cigarette butts after you had left. They also dried their laundry on my blind in the lower level area. Sent pictures to VRBO, I easily could have provided s you guys a laundry rack as I do have one. These blinds are over $300 to replace. And this is how things become broken down or unrepairable. All five barbeques have been repaired and cleaned extensively They would have been cleaned before however especially the one that you were in however, I had a short-term renter who could not leave until the day that I had guests, her mother is blind, and by letting them stay right up until the day I had guess she did not have to go into a hotel, as they were waiting for their new home to be built. I was trying to do the right thing here. The previous guest before you had no issue with the barbecue or we would have attended to it right away. Again I would definitely host you and your partner and child again. I brought in a bottle of Chardonnay for the inconvenience of the upper deck barbeque not working properly. I also extended a discount to the lady who answered the door to you I am offering a 25% discount if you would like to come back and stay with me again. Thank you, and all the very best Rosanne
