Your escape to the French countryside... "Temps d'Alenar" is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in a beautiful French farmhouse with a private pool and stunning and spacious garden. The owners live off-site, so you will have the place to yourselves.

Set in the south of the Haute-Vienne, just a few miles away from the Dordogne and the Corrèze, the Limousin is wonderful to explore with its rich history and beautiful countryside. Often overlooked and bypassed, the Haute Vienne offers you the perfect piece of rural France to enjoy a family holiday full of relaxation, good food, culture, and memories.

This recently renovated property is set in a small hamlet just outside the medieval village of Le Chalard, and a 10 minutes drive away from the charming town of St-Yrieix-la-Perche and all its amenities. The accommodation is perfect for families or couples wanting to get away from the hustle & bustle to spend time together with friends or family.

Welcome to "Temps d'Alenar" holiday home. We’re beyond excited to welcome you !
This place is very special to us. Believe it or not, it is our first home together, purchased just after we met and got married in 2015!
In the past few years, we’ve really enjoyed renovating the property and making it our special place. It’s a great spot to sit back and relax or to come back to after a full day of adventures, and discover everything rural France has to offer. We have so many great memories attached to it, and we’re convinced that you will love it too.

e Chalard is a beautiful and quaint medieval village, with a Romanesque church dating from the 11th century. At its foot, you may wonder among the sculpted tombs dating back to the 12-13th centuries, some of which belonged to the monks from the abbey next to the church. Over the summer guided tours are available. During your stay you can also visit our village Gold Museum, going back in time from the Gauls up until 2001... 2500 years of amazing history! Our local museum also offers gold panning initiations for adults and children!
