We loved staying at VSL! We had our wedding here and it was the perfect venue for a smaller wedding with privacy! We also loved being able to use the lake. Would definitely return.

Family Reunion

We had a great time staying here. The lake and the dock are lovely and the kids had a great time catching minnows! The Pavillion is so spacious and the house was a great place to stay. I would highly recommend this place!

The property was amazing, the property looks exactly the same as it does in the pictures. We were 5-10 minutes away from everything. The property was clean and spacious. Loved the out door Pavillion. We had a great stay!

Great communication!

Booked this place for a going-away event. We were surprised about the set up because they put up complimentary drapings and it elevated the space so much! The communication was smooth and fantastic, making sure to accommodate everything we needed. The indoor housing was spotless and provided great rest for my family, and the pavilion hosted us very well even during the rain! Overall, 5 stars all around!

Memorial weekend 2025

We came from Michigan to watch our grandchildren graduate from high school. Everyone was excited to stay at the Lodge. It was the first time of renting a house for our vacation. Only issue we had was the listing stated we could have a dog. It didn’t say that the dog was not allowed in the house. Needless to say one of our party had sleep in the car with the dog. The Host had put up graduation balloons at the end of the driveway. We thought that was a great thought. Lots of memories were made. Thank you!

This house is advertised as pet friendly but be aware, pets are only allowed outside. No pets inside. There are four sleeper sofas but they are VERY uncomfortable, with a raised metal bar going across the middle. I had to buy my employees 4 air mattresses to sleep on. Now for the positives: The property and lake are BEAUTIFUL and very private! The house is clean and spacious and the pavilion would definitely be an awesome place to host an event or gathering. My guys enjoyed the peacefulness of the surroundings very much!
