This was a clean and quiet property. Views of the lake from much of the house. We took the kyacks out; heard but could not see the loons. Also enjoyed the hot tub.
Great Lake house! Clean, spacious, kitchen had everything we needed. For us, the best part was the dock and sitting area next to the lake. Kids caught plenty of fish from the dock. Basketball hoop with yard games in the back next to the fire pit. Hoping we can make it back.
This house was so wonderful. The location is stunning. The lake is great. The host provided so many extras that just made the trip all that much more seamless. Would definitely rent again.
We had an incredible stay at the lake house. Michelle and Patrick were absolutely wonderful to work with and very responsive throughout our stay. The home is beautiful. Waking up to the lake each morning was such a treat. We definitely hope to visit again!
This was our second trip to the lake house. Love the new sitting area overlooking the lake. It turned out to be a chilly week so we didn't spend much time on the lake. The hot tub on the other hand was perfect! Already looking forward to next year!
The house was nicely appointed, clean, on a very quiet street. Easy to get to and from Boston, even on a holiday weekend. The lake was very swimmable, even as early as Memorial Day.
A couple things to be aware of:
One of the bedrooms has to be walked through to get to the primary bed room (or you have to go outside). The play loft is also above the primary bedroom, so not a place that will allow kids to play while parents sleep in, but the living room worked ok for that.
We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics. One thing of note: there is only a countertop toaster oven, not a full size oven. There is a gas cooktop as well. If you plan to cook while there, that will be an important detail. This house has a great view from the living room. We stayed during some very hot days - approaching 90 degrees. There was no air conditioning in the house, but it was still quite comfortable. There seems to be a reliable lake breeze that keeps things cool. One thing to note if you do stay during warm months is that there is a rooster living nearby that crows early in the morning, and throughout the day. If your windows are open, you will hear him. The lake itself was very clean and quiet. There were motorized boats, but not many, and they all seemed adequately cautious to kayaks and paddleboarders on the lake.
Melissa was easy to communicate with and accommodating.
You should bring your own beach towels, they aren't provided. We enjoyed the hot tub. This is a great house for all ages, but would be an especially great house for a family with little ones, as there is a play loft set up for the under 10 crowd, and kid kayaks as well as adults.
Great time and weather! Lake is amazing and the hiking in the area is amazing! Great hosts and attentive to needs. Main bedroom - the bed is comfy! Loved the outside shower! Super happy with the place and the hosts! Would like to return again!
