Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Es war gemütlich. Es wurde sehr darauf geachtet, alles funktioniert und sauber ist( täglich Pool)

Schöner Urlaub mit Abstrichen

Wir sind noch vor offizieller Check-in Zeit angekommen, aber die Schlafräume waren bereits fertig und wir konnten direkt das Gepäck ausladen. Die Schlafräume sind einfach eingerichtet, wenig Stauraum, im Bad der Spiegelschrank viel zu hoch und keine Steckdose für Fön vorhanden. Auch wenn eine Renovierung dringend notwendig ist, waren die Schlafräume sauber, Bad ebenfalls. Der Gemeinschaftsraum/die Küche ist nicht besonders gut ausgestattet und ebenfalls sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Keine Klimaanlage im Gemeinschaftsraum, dadurch sehr feucht und muffig. Der Garten mit Pool und Liegen schön, absolutes Highlight der Ausblick auf Motovun und die Weinstöcke. Wir waren das 7. Mal in Istrien und wurden immer sehr herzlich empfangen, dass fehlte hier gänzlich und auch während des Aufenthaltes keine Kommunikation. Zur Begrüßung waren im Kühlschrank Getränke sowie typisch istrisch Käse- und Schinkenplatte, was sehr nett war. Was nicht explizit in der Beschreibung steht, aber unbedingt gesagt werden muss: die 4 Schlafräume sind NICHT mit dem Wohn-/Gemeinschaftsraum verbunden, man gelangt nur über eine Außentreppe dahin. In diesem Jahr bei sehr regnerischen Wetter wirklich nervig. Der Gemeinschaftsraum auch nicht sonderlich gemütlich. Sehr gut war der große Tisch draußen, leider fehlt hier eine regensichere Überdachung, was dringend nachgeholt werden sollte. Mein Fazit: Istrien und Urlaub sind immer schön, aber das Haus war dennoch etwas enttäuschend.

Ein super Objekt, wenn man berücksichtigt, dass das Objekt sehr abgelegen ist und man für alles ein Auto braucht. Ideal für junge Freundesgruppen, die am Pool auch gern mal die Musik etwas lauter drehen wollen!

Traumhafte Lage und wundervolles Haus

Zwischen Weinbergen, in einem winzigen Dorf liegt das Haus mit den vier Appartements absolut ruhig und malerisch. Die Räume sind sauber und klimatisiert, die Küche großzügig und der Pool im Garten absolut phantastisch. Wir hatten mit zwei Familien das ganze Essemble für uns und haben uns wunderbar erholt. Auch wenn die Küche nicht direkt mit den Appartements verbunden ist, stört das gar nicht. Es gibt einen schattigen Essplatz draußen und einen großen Esstisch drinnen. Die Nähe zu Motovun ist praktisch, weil man dort einkaufen und gut Essen gehen kann. Die Lage ist für viele Ausflugsziele in Istrien günstig. Der Empfang war herzlich und jeder Bitte (Kommunikation in Englisch hat gut geklappt) wurde sofort entsprochen. Wir waren restlos begeistert!

Not quite what we expected...

On the plus side, the location is lovely, peaceful, surrounded by vineyards and only metres from the Fakin Wine Tasting place! It was also spotlessly clean and the modern kitchen/diner/lounge was comfortable and fairly well equipped, although would benefit from a few more serving bowls/dishes/chopping boards of suitable size for 8 people sharing a meal. However, this place is usually run as a B&B and the bedrooms are accessed via an external staircase on the opposite side of the building to the kitchen door. This does give the property a rather disjointed feel. Similarly, the outside eating area and pool area/garden are separate from the house (only by a few feet, but still you have to cross a driveway to get to them) adding to the disjointed feel. Each of the four bedrooms has an en suite bathroom, again beautifully clean and with very good water pressure in the shower with a water heater in each bathroom, so plenty of hot water. The beds were huge and very comfortable, the air-con was modern and quiet. On the downside, you only get the wonderful view of Motovun from the top two rooms, only one of which has a balcony, big enough only for 3 people max. The upper rooms are accessed by a steep staircase with open treads, varnished wood - so don't attempt to climb it with just socks on! I think this would be pretty unsuitable for small children or anyone frail etc. Overall we found the house to be comfortable and in very good order, so good value for money, but not quite as presented in the photos. We were also a bit disappointed not to meet an English speaking owner - the lady who greeted us spoke no English at all and it was difficult to communicate with her when we had a slight problem with something in the kitchen (she had to ask a young girl next door to translate for us). Another thing that would be useful, is a folder or book of local information ie. a Visitor Book, which guests could add to. Most HA properties I've stayed in have something like this, containing some info about the property (useful when you have accidentally switched off the kitchen water heater as I did), also some maps perhaps and leaflets for things like bike hire (Montona Tours in Motovun - excellent). I think this would benefit both owner and guests. It took us roughly an hour to walk up into Motovun for a meal, less coming back downhill, There are no taxis around here! The Parenzana trail is wonderful. Take a torch as it's very dark at night!

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir waren 6 Erwachsene, 2 große Kinder (14,16) und 2 Hunde (Boxer). Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten alle genug Platz um uns auszubreiten, jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer, ebenso das Wohnzimmer eine weitere Toilette. Wir hatten die gesamten 2 Wochen den großen Pool und den Grill für uns alleine. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Burg in Motovun. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Alle Räume waren sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Diese Unterkunft würden wir auf jeden Fall erneut Buchen.
