Charming Log Cabin on Private Pond Nestled in Woods Near Holiday Valley Resort

My charming log cabin sits on 100 acres of private land which adjoins 2200 of New York State Forest. It overlooks a small pond that is stocked with bass. You are welcome to catch a few and cook them fresh on the gas grill. The front porch is comfortable with beautiful views of the pond, hills, and the valley below.

It is a cozy cabin with a sleeping loft and comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a shower. The loft has a queen size bed and the first floor has a double futon.

The sleeping loft is reached via a narrow metal spiral staircase.

Bring your bicycles in the summer or your cross-country skis or snowshoes in the winter or your hiking boots year round, as the state forest is full of groomed trails. Or bring your books and just relax and enjoy your surroundings.

There is a fire pit for cool evenings or just to enjoy while relaxing.

We are only 12 minutes from Ellicottville, New York which is a quaint little ski and resort town. You can ski in the winter or golf in the summer. There are world-class restaurants for fine dining and wonderful shopping. Take advantage of all that this enchanting area has to offer. I have some of the highlights listed below.

It is the perfect place for solitude or a romantic getaway. I hope you will come and enjoy this special place on Golden Hill!!

An amazing cabin to visit. Situated on a quiet pond, away from everything that distracts. The location is perfect. Our dog loved the porch as much as we did. Lovely decor, perfect getaway. Host was very helpful and thoughtful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this wonderful little cabin! Quiet, serene, peaceful outside. Cozy and comfortable inside. We wanted a place we could really unwind and relax, and we found it. We could live here!! Did a lot of reading on the porch swing (highly recommend Remarkably Bright Creatures) and hubby did a bit of fishing. Just sitting and relaxing on the porch looking out at the pond in those big comfy chairs was perfect. On our last day we had a morning visit by a doe and fawn while enjoying our last cups of coffee on the porch. We were a bit sad to leave… it exceeded our expectations and we wish we could have stayed longer!

We love this little cabin! My family and the dogs have stayed multiple times and would recommend to anyone in need of a quiet getaway. The cabin is rustic but is always clean and well taken care of. The porch is amazing! My son and husband love fishing in the pond and my dogs are obsessed with chasing the dragonflies around it. Can't wait to go back!
