Better than expected
My stay at the studio was perfect and I will be staying there again. Clean, contemporary, peaceful, and well located. Tushita is a very gracious host and helpful on local hikes and amenities. Only downside was the 2 roll limit on toilet paper for a week stay.
Quiet little tucked away spot yet near everything Santa Fe
Highly recommend this studio to anyone staying in Santa Fe
Peaceful, cozy & zen
What a lovely studio! We had a fantastic little getaway for 3 nights. The space is clean, light, simple, private, zen & oh so quiet (except for coyotes howling in the far distance one night, which I loved). We will definitely be returning✨
Perfect Santa Fe spot
We had a great stay at Upper Canyon Studio. The location feels quite remote but is close to all the galleries on Canyon Road. The courtyard is a real treat and even though it was a bit cold we enjoyed the outdoor Kiva! The interior is well appointed and had everything one could need. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Santa Fe.
Highly recommend this studio......especially for those who enjoy a quiet location with a remote feeling, yet close to restaurants, shopping and the culture of Santa Fe. Tushita, the owner, was responsive and helpful.
This space is well thought out. Despite it being a studio, the bed was comfortable, there is an area to do work, an island for cooking and an ample closet/storage area.
The little courtyard was private and relaxing-just what I needed for my trip!
Santa Fe is located in the high desert at approximately 7200 ft. surrounded by 3 mountain ranges. Rich in culture and diversity, it offers the best of both city life and the natural world: fine restaurants, art galleries, museums, shopping, numerous festivals, theater, opera, live music, tennis, golf, hiking trails, petroglyphs, bird watching, winter sports and big sky; all right in or just outside of town.
A short drive will bring you to hot springs, Native American Pueblos, downhill and cross country skiing / snowboarding, river rafting, horseback riding and fishing.
Pack a lunch and take a day trip to Taos, Jemez Springs, Ojo Caliente, Bandelier National Monument, Tsankawi, Chaco Canyon, Georgia O'keefe's Ghost Ranch, Turquoise Trail and much more.
Please note there are now a limited amount of direct flights to the Santa Fe Municipal Airport, less than 12 miles from Upper Canyon Studio. The Albuquerque International Sunport is the next closest at about 52 miles away.
Other Activities: Museums, galleries, skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing
Ski: World Class skiing and snowboarding is available at the Santa Fe Ski Basin, a beautiful 30 minute drive from Upper Canyon Studio. It includes a PSIA Certified Ski School, 77 trails, 660 acres of terrain and a 12,075 foot summit.
