About this property

Forest service inspired Lookout Townhome with private elevator and commanding mountain views just minutes from downtown and the U of M.

The property adjoins city open space and the Us West Trail connecting Mount Jumbo to the lower Rattlesnake, and there is Clark Fork River access a 1/4 mile away to paddle board, swim or tube.

The Main level consists of a garage with laundry area, and a separate garage/activity room. There is a private elevator (46"x35") access to levels.

The Second level features a spacious kitchen with a gas jenn air downdraft, modern stainless steel appliances, and a 6 person dining area with a sliding patio door to a bbq deck backing up to Missoula open space and Mount Jumbo. There is also a modern workspace/office with a wireless color printer off the kitchen.

The second level also features a step down living room with access to an outside concrete patio area. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on this level, with multiple balcony areas overlooking Mt Sentinel. Bedroom 1 has two twin beds, Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed and a twin.

The Third level highlights the lookout suite with a King bed and pull out sleeping couch (full bed). You'll enjoy a spacious walk in Tile shower with his/her bathroom sinks, and dual and a corner patio glass system that opens to nature and city open space. There is also an adjustable height computer work station in this suite.

The propety was exceptionally clean. Check in was easy. The kitchen was ideal for us to make meals and sit around the table chatting and enjoying viewsof the back of Mt. Jumbo. We all agreed it was a perfect spot and are looking forward to renting again.

This house was a perfect fit for our group for this trip! We will definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable, the bedding was great. For anyone with mobility challenges, there are 3 steps to access the living room, 2 main floor bedrooms, and the backyard area. Other than those 3 steps, everything is accessible. The elevator made this stay for me so much more comfortable. It was a game changer as far as improving my trip experience. The things that did affect our trip in small ways were inconvenient but wouldn’t keep us from staying again. The host communicated fine but I felt I was bothering them when I messaged. So, after 3 or 4 messages, I just didn’t ask anything else. The messages did say AI generated so maybe it wasn’t the host themselves?We didn’t have a remote for the living room tv. The host said the last guest took it and they haven’t replaced it. Hopefully this is corrected, but the bedroom that is a picture of the deck, is a queen and a sectional sofa that makes a full bed. The bed is probably fine for adventurous adults or kids. The kitchen was great except no baking pans. There are 2 quarter sheet pans though. Most people probably don’t bake a birthday cake on vacation though! Just me! The fact our U of M student could come stay with us with his cat, and that we brought our dog was a HUGE advantage to our family. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here!

Perfect Location

The views were incredible. The condo had lots of natural light. Plenty of room for our party of 4. The condo backs up to mountain and the beauty is like no other. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed for our stay, the beds were comfortable, and primary shower is massive. Great communication and instructions regarding property. Primary bedroom is spacious. There are stairs but this condo has an elevator for someone in need. My daughter loved this feature. You will not be disappointed by staying here. We would definitely stay here again.
