Cozy getaway in Litchfield County - Pet Friendly!

Welcome to our enchanting Cottage at the Grove! Whether you seek relaxation, outdoor adventures, or a cozy retreat, our cottage is the perfect getaway for your next escape. Lake access with beach. Just minutes to March Farm or Bethlehem Fair Grounds, 10 min to Downtown Litchfield, some amazing wineries and other local attractions!

THE SPACE

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a beautifully transformed open-concept one bedroom home that has been thoughtfully designed with modern amenities and furnishings. The cottage can sleep up to 4 adults. There is one bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and updated ensuite bathroom. The bathroom features an oversized soaking tub and dual shower heads. The main space is open concept with a kitchen stocked with the basic amenities you will need, a dining table for four and a modern sectional sofa that sits in front of the wood burning stove. Wood is provided for use of the wood burning stove, a great feature for the cold winter months. There is electric heat as well that efficiently heats the property. The sofa pulls out to a full size bed with memory foam mattress. Sliding glass doors off the living room steps out to a very private deck with outdoor dining area. The quaint backyard overlooks the woods and features a fire pit and lovely garden.

KASSON GROVE COMMUNITY

The community has a private beach and boat ramp into the 1 acre Long Meadow Pond that is a short 4-5 minute walk from the cottage. The lake is shallow and great for swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and more. The pond does not allow gas/diesel motorboats.

LOCATION

This amazing location has tons to offer - March Farm is just minutes away with an amazing farm store offering fresh pies, hot apple cider, fresh produce and more. Additionally, there are other great farms close by. Hawk Ridge Winery is 11 minutes away, along with a few other great vineyards. Downtown Litchfield offers shopping and restaurants just 10 minutes from the Cottage. Great local hiking areas also close by. Upon check-in we will provide you with a list of our favorite places to visit!
Guest access
Guests will have full access to the cottage and property. The shed is kept locked as we store supplies and equipment in there. Guests will also have access to the Kasson Grove Community Beach and Boat Launch. At this time there is no access to the Great Northern Cedar Tub located on the deck.
Other things to note
AMENITIES
The kitchen is stocked with all of the basic amenities you will need to cook a meal include pots and pans, olive oil, salt and pepper and necessary utensils. Ninja Coffee Maker takes KCups or ground coffee - KCups are provided but feel free to bring your own grounds.

PETS
Our property is dog friendly but we ask that all guests, including the four legged ones respect our property. Any damage that exceeds the deposit will be the guests responsibility. We only allow dogs under our pet policy.

HOT TUB
The Great Northern cedar tub located on the deck is not currently plumbed for a hot tub but we hope to offer this wonderful amenity in the future!
