This was a great stay.. we took our kids and family to the mountains on fall break. They was was super excellent, spacious and super clean. A great spot for a larger family vacations. Johnathan and Kim were great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Would def stay here again!
Truly a magical place! From day one any question I had was answered within minutes! The property is beyond beautiful and when we arrived the whole place was spotless! We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding here and would recommend anyone looking to have a small intimate wedding to consider here! This place was the most perfect spot for our wedding! We are hoping to come back in the future. This place will always hold such a special place in our hearts.
House is everything advertised and so much more! When they say fully stocked home, they mean it! We needed absolutely nothing and enjoyed our stay with family celebrating my husband kicking cancers butt!
The property was exceptionally clean, well equipped, and just stunning overall. Kim was so unbelievably accommodating and her communication could not have been better is she tried. A truly excellent host with a property to match.
This property was everything and more. We hosted our micro-wedding here, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and offered plenty of space for both adults and kids. This home will forever hold a special place in our hearts.Kim, thank you for making our stay seamless. We look forward to coming back to your lovely home in the future.
What a wonderful treat to stay in this beautiful home! Kitchen was very well equipped with all that we needed to cook and feed our group of 12. Beds were all very comfortable. Home is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Beautiful views and many entertainment options for the kids. Kitchen and bathrooms have been redone and are superb. Great setting for our family gathering.
The property is remote enough to get away from everything for a while, but is also close enough to pop into town for supplies or a quick meal. The house itself is beautiful and has great common areas and spectacular views. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating.
This house is amazing!!!! All sorts of fun details and so much space!!! The kitchen is amazing, the living areas spacious, and all the games and details for the game room and movie room are spot on!!! Highly recommend!
What an amazing home and grounds. We had a micro wedding here and it was absolutely amazing. There is so much to do at the house for all ages that everyone was entertained. Amazing kitchen with two refrigerators which was great for entertaining. The primary room and bath were amazing. Can’t say enough good things about the home. Thank you so much to our hostess who was very gracious and responsive. 5-plus stars
Great secluded and quite location. Koy pond-Kids loved it, and they discovered some wild blueberry bushes. Fire Pit - Fires every night with smores. Rocking chairs to sit and just watch the views of the smoky mountains, games room for the kids, kept them occupied for hours. Comfy beds, great set up for families. Fantastic 4th of July show from the Deck as well. Overall great location (easy access to town), but still super private

Thank you so much for your review Kelly! The firepit area is one of our families favorite areas as well both during the winter and summer! We do smores as well and our kiddos love it. My kids and their friends won't stop playing the games downstairs the entire time we visit! You are welcome back anytime!!
We rented this property to celebrate my son's birthday with a group of 20, aged 18-74. Everyone raved about the house! We found everything to be clean and in good working order. There are 2 refrigerators which is a must in a home that accommodates this large of a group. The kitchen ice maker is quite slow, but we did notice the last day there is a countertop unit stored in the pantry. The kitchen is well equipped, and also has double ovens. There is a regular and pod style coffee machine with a nice selection of pods provided. The teens and early 20 somethings loved the game room and spent most of their time down there. The hearth room (which boasts the best gas fireplace we've ever seen) was enjoyed by the adults. There are multiple Dyson units throughout the home to provide additional heating and cooling if needed. We very much appreciated the extra heat in the master bathroom! There were plenty of bath towels, which we rarely find to be the case. This was fantastic as no one wants to do laundry on a weekend getaway! Something to note is the queen bedroom is rather small and on the basement level. We had the teens in the adjacent bunk room with adults in the queen, so they had to endure the late night noise from the youngsters. Unfortunately the weather prevented us
from using the outdoor areas except for the last day. My son and his friends loved the chipping green! If you play golf, be sure to bring clubs. It is an amazing home & our favorite rental thus far! Excellent

Thank you so much for this amazing review. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting you and your group. We absolutely love cooking in that kitchen as well when we stay ourselves!! The waterfall great room fireplace is our absolute favorite, we totally agree!!
You are welcome back anytime!!
2 Very spacious/ open common areas with large kitchen in the middle. Plenty of room to hangout in large numbers. There’s a huge sectional couch, which was no problem for the 12 of us and even left room for more! Several outdoor spaces, as well. Great view off the side porch. The game room and movie theater in the basements makes even more room to hangout. This was helpful as we had rain and heavy fog a large majority of the time. We did go do outdoor activities in the rain too! It is right next to Grandfather Vineyard which was beautiful and great fun for kids and adults. Just a few miles to the alpine coaster and about 25 minutes to the top of grandfather mountain national park to visit the swinging bridge and several trails. The house has multiple King beds which makes for an enjoyable stay for the adults and we all commented on how comfortable the mattresses are, which is so important! Several cute spaces to put the kids too, with a huge bunk room but also a double bunk bed with curtain attached in one king bedroom. They also have two pack-n-plays and two high chairs if your kids are young. Kitchen had everything and there is a gas grill which fired right up. In addition, there are two full sized refrigerators for food and drinks and two sets of washer/dryers. The small pond outside has several Koi fish and the kids got a kick out of seeing those swimming around. They obviously planned on housing large numbers and easily accommodate all.
What a retreat! Gorgeous property- so beautiful and peaceful. Incredible home for large groups. Very accommodating. Only did 4 stars for accuracy of listing because a grill was listed and we could not find one. Had to cook steaks in the oven.
