McDoel Gardens vacation rentals

Very nice and convenient. Place is very dated but had most everything we needed. Bathroom could have used more towels bars and an electrical outlet. We were going to a special event and really couldn't see to dry my hair.

I was attending a conference at Monroe Convention Center which is just a block or two away. It was very convenient. My husband stayed with me and we were able to walk to nearby bars and restaurants. The space was exactly as described on the listing and the hosts were very communicative leading up to our check-in day. The room was clean as well. I liked the large TV in the unit we had. Home backed cookies waiting for us, very clean, Hoosier themed, close to campus. Couldn’t be better. We hope to stay , again.

My husband and I stayed here when we were in town to visit our son at IU. The property wasn't really within walking distance to campus (although for some it would be), but it was a very short drive there. There is a coffee shop within walking distance but otherwise it is in a nice, residential area on a quiet street. There are board games and the decor is not your typical Ikea-furnished-by-a-corporate-property-owner furnishings. The owners seemed to have spent time actually living there, as they thought of everything we needed. Communication was great also. Definitely would stay here again.
