Awesome house in a great location!

Beautiful property

The property was located in a beautiful area between the beach and the marshes. The yard and deck areas were so lovely! While there was a little bit of wear and tear, the layout easily accomodates a big group, with five large bedrooms that are spread out in the house and give everyone plenty of privacy. The bedrooms had decks and sitting areas. Great views. Note that the kids' bedroom (bunk beds + trundle bed) is linked through a door to a large (parents') bedroom. Lots of sitting space separated into several rooms, and well equipped with dining supplies. Easy access to very good local restaurants and to Wilmington attractions. We would come back in a heartbeat!

It it was a great location, quick drive to downtown Wrightsville and over to Wilmington. Perfect for people that like the option of doing things in a bigger city. The house had multiple bedrooms and easily slept the 9 of us, with room for more. The elevator came in handy for loading and unloading luggage and groceries. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had floats out there and even had a friend drop us off by boat. The yard is HUGE, great to just be out and relax. So many rooms and comfy spots to hang out. The kitchen was very large and had a lot of dishes and amenities, even oyster shuckers! My friends are already talking about making this an annual thing!!!

All the couples had rooms of their own while the kids made the top floor their home for the week. The large dining table fit the group of 12 perfectly for meals and the family room allowed us to gather to watch our favorite shows. But the smaller gathering spaces allowed people to go off and escape when they wanted to. I would definitely come back to this house.

Sea Scape Properties was easy to work with prior to the rental, with timely replies to emails and detailed information. I loved the easy to use app that they provided during our stay at the house. The house was beautiful, clean, well decorated, and had great common spaces for our large group. The only negative was construction on the dock outside on the day of our arrival. During our stay, the property management was quick to answer questions and were easy to contact through the app. I would absolutely come stay at this property again!

Awesome Winter Girl's Weekend

Plenty of beds and sleeping options. AMAZING VIEWS!!!! Location was perfect. Beach right across the street. Lots of parking (we had 4 cars). Very easy rental process. Close to shopping and Wilmington. Only one suggestion from the cook in the group, she wished the kitchen was a little better stocked and had more counter space. She fed 13 of us so there was a lot of food and cooking. But, for us non cooks, that was a minor detail. We all had a fabulous time and hopefully can stay here again!!! Thanks Sea Escape for a great winter weekend.

We're happy you enjoyed the house so much! As for the kitchen, the owner has plans for a remodel, however enlarging the back yard and building a more water-accessible dock took priority and will soon be completed. Hopefully the kitchen will be the next project!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed this property, just wish we didn’t have all the problems with the stove and the refrigerators. This is a very nice beach house but needs some updates. For the price I would have expected a little more. On top of the fact that we were never offered compensation for our problems. The stove was the biggest. We were able to cook for one night and morning, and then had to constantly fix the stove in order for it to stop clicking and letting off gas. Not as relaxing as I would wanted our vacation to be.

We had a wedding planned for the dock but dock was changed by owners. No communication about hold up. Crew working on deck was there during our stay to complete. Wasn't really a hassle but notification would have been nice or a schedule of when they would be working and when they wouldn't be working. It wasn't much of an issue as workers were friendly and to business. Truly amazing views from all angles of the house. Ocean views, intercoastal, marshes, sunsets etc... Kitchen supplies was awesome to have especially when we needed to shuck our oysters. Thanks!

Our company did communicate with this couple regularly over the year leading up to their wedding date. Unfortunately, we were only informed that the reception would be held at another house, and we had no idea they had planned their wedding at this home on the dock (and therefore did not charge the customary event fee). The house previously had no back yard whatsoever, and the dock was very old and weathered. It was not until about a week prior to their arrival that we learned of their plans at this home. From that point on, we were in regular contact with the guests to help make arrangements for them and get the contractors out of the way as quickly as possible. Future renters will absolutely love the new back yard patio, expanded back yard and new dock that extends all the way to the channel where you can launch canoes, kayaks, SUP's, and even dock a small boat!

Cats Wedding at the Beach! Amazing

This house was perfect for the reception in the backyard and for our family to stay at during the wedding week! This house is located on the sound side and was worth every penny! Sunrise to sunset! The Sea Scapes staff was very responsive and great to work with from the beginning! I would highly recommend working with Tracie! Thanks Tracie! When we arrived the house was stocked with new towels, plenty of beach towels, laundry detergent, etc. The only down fall to the stay was that some of the cooking utensils for using the gas grill were not available. We ended up purchasing some items we thought would have been a part of stocked kitchen. Overall the week just flew by as we were just settling into the house. Another point is the house could use a little love on the outside, exterior and a few of the doors need to the deck need some adjustments. I would suggest to the owner to provide at least one or two more trash cans for garbage collection. Two is simply not enough.

Beautiful house

We enjoyed our stay at this property. A few things to note would be that the listing fits 15, where I feel like it should say it only fits 13 comfortably. There is a sun room with a pull out that was not comfortable, nor could fit 2 adults. We did use couches instead. The linens felt a little musty, and some of the couches could have used some updating. Loved the layout of the dining area, living area and outdoor spots -would have liked it to feel a bit cleaner.

Beautiful Vacation

This property is great for a large family or multiple families. Excellent beach access and room for the kids to play, inside and out. This house is fully equipped and very beautiful. We had 15 people and the house still felt very large. Would highly recommend.

Our stay

Ocean and bay views were fantastic. We were missing sheets in one bedroom and also found a half eaten cheese sandwich in the same bedroom. We did not have bath soap or shampoo which was surprising and luckily brought our own We also did not have dish detergent. Other than that they stay was great
