Pros:
- Beautiful location with view on the water, about a 20 minute drive from downtown Antigonish, close to Dunns and Pomquet beaches.
- Has all the necessary pots, pans and utensils to cook your own meals
- ideal space for a couple or a single person looking for an intimate place to spend a few days.
Cons:
- Expensive
- Loft bed accessible by a ladder that, when in place, blocks access to the bathroom.
- Bedding would be greatly improved by adding a comforter and better pillows
- Very low ceiling in the shower. If you are over 5'7, it will be rather uncomfortable.
- Very small hot water tank
- Door can blow open in the middle of the night during stormy periods.
Innovative tiny house - not terribly user-friendly as designed
The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor
