Coming with dens, bedrooms, and kitchens spread across two-stories, this home is PERFECT for any group. Located just minutes from the heart of downtown, and interstate access, it is a short trip from everything the city has to offer. Please come enjoy the fun and charm of the Delrey.

Family friendly historic home with loads of charm and fun features. Kids loved the scavenger hunt and playing hide and seek in the hidden rooms. Central location was a plus.

We enjoyed the house so much! Everyone loved the secret rooms! I ended up with a 14 people and everyone of one of us were so comfortable! Beds were so comfy, the couches so comfy, thank you for responding so fast when we needed towels and help with the lock.

The hosts were very welcoming and quick to reply to our questions. This historic home has a lot of charm and character; our kids loved the scavenger hunt and secret rooms! Very comfortable for our group. There is a lot to do around town within a short drive.

Great Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Delray! There was plenty of room for everyone, was in a quiet neighborhood , and had lots of quirky art and interesting spaces in the home. We loved the scavenger hunt!

We had an excellent stay in this very interesting property. We had initial problems with the WiFi but the owner/manager was very responsive and made numerous follow up contacts to make sure everything was ok. We were very pleased with the property and hosts.

We throughly enjoyed our stay as this was our home base for 10 player 7 day RTJ Trail golf trip. Plenty of space for 10 players with some even getting their own rooms. Place was clean and kitchen was equipped for us to cook almost every night after a full day of golf. Plenty of towels and amenities during our stay. House was interesting with all of the different artwork and the scavenger hunt. Nice having TVs in all rooms as well. Would recommend anyone staying here for their next visit to the Birmingham area.

Adorable home with lots of fun activities!

Perfect home to stay at if you need lots of space or have a multi-family stay planned. There is plenty of room in a comfortable setting! Close to many restaurants and shopping for convenience. I would highly recommend this lovely home for your next stay!

The house was perfect. All of our children & their families were here for our 50th wedding anniversary, 3 families stayed at the Glen Iris house. We’re only a few doors away, so children could walk back & forth. Ck in was very easy, kitchen met needs, space available was great.

Great house for large group

This house was perfect for our group. We had 6 couples and never felt Cramped. We will plan to stay here again very soon. I highly recommend this property. Oh and the hide a way rooms for the kids ( and adults) were great.

Fantastic and Fun

This was such a great house to stay in. The scavenger hunt + hidden room kept the kids busy for about an hour which allowed for us to actually get situated. Nick and Sarah were especially attentive and quick with anything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend this for large families and friend groups.

Tennis Weekend in Birmingham / Pelham

Some players on our tennis team from North Carolina stayed in this house for a tennis tournament in Pelham and it worked out great! House is in a good area close to restaurants and easy access to I-65. Large TV in each of the rooms and a nice little fitness room. Owner was very easy to deal with and good communications. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Golf outing

Well kept and clean, only minutes away from RTJ courses and midtown.. only 3 full bathrooms and one 1/2 bath, not 4 full bathrooms.. low water pressure..

Birmingham Gem!

We were thrilled at the central location of this home. The historic nature of the home made it very special yet it was updated and very comfortable. It has many of the things you hope for when traveling like a spacious kitchen, plugs in bedrooms for charging electronics and full size bars of soap just to name a few. The scavenger hunt was a blast and we enjoyed it tremendously! We agreed we would 100% stay again at this property. Thank you for a great visit!

This stay was for our Duncan holiday. We had plenty of room for the 11 of us. The hidden rooms were fun. The neighborhood was perfect. Close to the Mcwane science center. We Loved the Treasure Hunt

The children and teens immediately loved the house, as did I. We loved the treasure hunt, which was unique. The house was very spacious and looked exactly like the photos. The house was a short drive to local attractions. Mr. Brad was our hero, who helped us with minor issues. I would highly recommend the house and would stay there again.

Nice Family Getaway!

My family and I recently stayed at this beautiful home, and it exceeded all our expectations! The house was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the scavenger hunt that was set up; it added an extra layer of fun and excitement for the kids (and the adults too!). The location was approximately 12mins fromProtective Stadium where we watched an awesome football game. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided all the information we needed for a smooth stay. We made so many wonderful memories here, and we can't wait to return for another visit. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway!
