Welcome home! This Three-bedroom one-bath single-family home is nestled directly south of Downtown Des Moines! 3 minutes to the east village and 5 minutes to central downtown! Shopping, restaurants, nightlife and more await!

This traditional-style home is well-appointed with modern furnishings, and includes all the amenities you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy the comfort of your own space at one of the closest short term rental properties to downtown!

Located within a convenient 5-minute drive, you`ll find yourself within arm`s reach of numerous attractions and entertainment hotspots, including Wooly`s, Wells Fargo Arena, Hy Vee Hall, The Civic Center, the East Village, Court Ave District, an array of restaurants and bars, and fantastic shopping options. Additionally, you`re just a quick 10-minute drive away from the Iowa State Fairgrounds!

Parking is a breeze with space for up to 3 cars in the long driveway, and you`ll also find ample free street parking right in front of the house.

We do also welcome dogs! There is a $100 fee per pet and all dogs must be registered on the reservation.

Living Room:
Step into a spacious and open living area, complete with a generous 55-inch smart TV, primed for your streaming pleasure. The inviting sectional offers a perfect spot for relaxation..

Dining Room:
We`ve recently added a dining room on the main level, though it`s not pictured yet. Here, you`ll find a full-sized kitchen table with ample seating for 6-8, perfect for enjoying meals and socializing.

Downstairs Bathroom:
Connected to the living room, you`ll find a full bathroom stocked with towels, a hair dryer, makeup rags, toilet paper, shower supplies, and a full-sized tub & shower for your comfort and convenience.

Kitchen:
Inside the kitchen, you`ll discover everything you need, from a fridge, oven/stovetop, toaster, microwave, dish rack (please note, there`s no dishwasher), pots and pans, silverware, cups, complimentary coffee and tea, plateware, and more. We`ve also provided a full-sized washer and dryer, free for your use, along with detergent.

Upstairs Bedroom #1:
The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed and a smart TV for your entertainment.

Upstairs Bedroom #2:
In the second bedroom, you`ll find a cozy queen-sized bed and another smart TV.

Upstairs Bedroom #3:
The third bedroom offers a full-sized bed and a futon, along with a smart TV for your enjoyment.

Sleeping arrangements:
This home accommodates up to 10 guests. There are beds for 6, plus a futon upstairs that can sleep 2 (cozy fit) and a couch for 1. Guests are welcome to bring an air mattress, which can be placed in the living room. Please note that not every guest will have a bed so we ask that guests ensure the sleeping arrangements work for your group before booking.

Guest will access the property using a smart lock. Information and pin code will be sent the day of the booking.

Security cameras are placed on the outside of the property for guests safety. One is at the front door facing the street and the other is on the west side of the home facing the rear section of the driveway and backyard. The cameras monitor audio and video.

By booking, you agree to all of the house rules listed on our listing. Here it is again for your reference:

1. Smoking and drug use are not allowed inside the home. This includes vapes, weed, or other illegal substances. There is a $1000 fine if discovered.

2. Unruly Parties are not allowed in this property, including loud music. There is a fee of $1000 if more guests than stated are brought to the property or because of excessive noise after the first warning/ neighbor complaints. Quiet Hours: 10:00pm - 8am.

3. There is a $50 fee per guest per night for undeclared guests.

4. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee.

5. A lost, missing, or damaged key or fob (if property uses keys/fobs) has a replacement cost of $75 each

6. Check-Out Policy - Standard check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-out is not guaranteed and may only be available if there are no same-day bookings or scheduling conflicts with our cleaning team. If you`d like to request a late check-out, please inquire the day before departure. Requests made earlier will not receive a confirmed answer until that time. A fee may apply for a late check-out.

7. Check-In Policy - Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. Early check-in is not guaranteed and depends on same-day turnover and cleaning schedules. If you`d like to request early check-in, please reach out on the day of arrival. We are unable to confirm early check-in prior to that day. A fee may apply for early check-in.

8. Everything in the home is inventoried. We will charge for any missing or damaged items.

9. Any cleaning issues must be reported within a reasonable time of check-in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have.

10. We do not allow packages/mail to be sent to the address you’re staying at. You may deliver to a local FedEx/UPS. We cannot help you to retrieve delivered mail.

11. You are booking with a valid government-issued ID and are not engaging in fraud or identity theft.

12. There is 1 security camera pointing at the door entrance. Blocking or disconnecting this device will lead to immediate termination of your stay with no refund.
