Our second-floor flat is less than a mile from downtown, US Bank Stadium, the Convention Center, and Uptown, making it the ideal central location for your group.

This second-floor flat has been recently renovated and features gorgeous original woodwork, 4 bedrooms, a formal dining room, a large living room, a full bathroom and a small powder room off one of the bedrooms, and an updated kitchen with new appliances and fully stocked with everything you need to cook your meals.

You will have access to the living room, 4 queen bedrooms, a bathroom/shower, many closets, and a large kitchen. There is ample street parking and driveway parking.

This is a well-equipped, clean, comfortable apartment. The location was great for us. We did several easy out-of-the-city drives, as well as more local short trips. We stayed here to attend a concert at US Bank stadium, and it was an easy 20 minute walk. The neighborhood is not upscale, and we did have to walk over some drug paraphernalia and other unpleasantness. However, we never felt unsafe, including walking back from the stadium at midnight. Right across the street is The Norway House, worth a visit. This is a very good, well kept apartment. Excellent value

The property itself was comfortable and suited our needs. However, the neighborhood raised serious concerns. We experienced frequent late-night disturbances and witnessed individuals (drug-abusers) loitering near the property. While unloading our luggage, someone approached us asking to buy drugs, and both of our vehicles were hit by paintball pellets. Overall, the house was fine, but we feel that more transparency about the neighborhood would greatly benefit guests, especially families.

Why they chose this property

We are within less than a mile and within walking distance to US Bank Stadium, downtown Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Children's Hospital, HCMC, and the Convention Center. We are just a couple miles from the center of the University of Minnesota, Uptown, Lake Calhoun, Lake Harriet, Lake of the Isles, and Lake Nokomis. We love good food, so we can also point you in the direction of local eating hot spots. We appreciate its diversity and vibrancy and how centrally located it is to the entire metro!!

Because we are in the heart of the city, we get to experience people from broad cultural and economic backgrounds in a densely populated area. Our neighborhood, Ventura Village, is a part of the most diverse neighborhood in the entire country with over 100 languages spoken here! There are restaurants, healthcare buildings, old Victorian homes, apartment buildings, and non-profit organizations. We consider it a privilege to live here, but it being in the heart of the city is not for everyone. During your stay, you may encounter lingering people panhandling. If this makes you feel uncomfortable, we may not be the place for you. Obviously, you will want to exercise "street smarts" as you would in any major metropolitan area. If you are looking for a quieter stay in the Twin Cities, you may prefer looking outside of our neighborhood. But we hope you won't. :)
