This private first-floor apartment is part of a quiet two-unit home.

Welcome to your private retreat in Torrington! This pristine, professionally cleaned first-floor apartment is thoughtfully designed for your comfort, whether you're a traveling professional or seeking a quiet getaway. The space is ideal for up to four guests.

Living Room: Unwind in the cozy, modern living area. Enjoy the warm ambiance of the electric fireplace while watching your favorite shows on the TV.

Kitchen: The full kitchen is ready for your culinary adventures, stocked with pots and pans. It features a stainless steel gas stove, a Samsung refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee machine for your morning brew.

Bedrooms: Find restful sleep in two private bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed and room-darkening shades.

Workspace: For those working remotely, a dedicated workspace is provided, making it easy to stay productive.

Bathroom: The full bathroom includes a relaxing tub, perfect for soaking after a day of exploring.

Outdoor Area: During the spring, summer, and fall, you have access to a private outdoor space with an umbrella and chairs.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire first-floor apartment.

Private Entrance: Your entrance is the left-hand door on the front porch, marked with mailbox #244.



Self Check-In: Enjoy a seamless arrival with our keyless entry system. An access code for the keypad will be provided upon booking.



Parking: Dedicated off-street parking is available for up to two vehicles on the left side of the driveway. Look for the 'Guest Parking' sign on the shed.



Laundry: You will have access to a private washer and dryer located in the basement, for your use only.

We live in the separate apartment on the second floor. We respect our guests' privacy but are available to answer any questions or provide assistance should you need anything during your stay.

This was the perfect location for our East Coast college visitor. It was perfectly suited so that we could see schools in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York City at Poughkeepsie New York. The two-bedroom layout was ideal for our family so that people could have a little privacy. Those were extremely responsive and very personal. I especially appreciated the ninja so that I could still make my smoothies for the morning. Trying to figure out an excuse so that if we could come back and stay again!

Great place to stay!

We really liked this apartment. It was very clean, well stocked with useful items, and felt very spacious and comfortable for an extended stay by two adults and a teenager. Everything was in like-new condition. We especially appreciated the cookware, large closets and laundry access. Corin and Jen are friendly and helpful, and respond quickly to all our questions. We hope to stay there again the next time we travel to Torrington!

A fabulous place to stay

Everything was clean and organized. Very easy to get into the house, very clear directions about where to park. Beds were very comfy and setup neatly. Plenty of towels available, blankets, pillows, and really anything else you could think of was available as well. The only small bad thing about the stay was being able to hear the neighbors upstairs, but it was no major bother.

I am a stickler on cleanliness and I can honestly say this is the cleanest rental I have ever been in! The mattress was very comfortable, and the sheets, OMG! Corin and Jenn did you buy them? It was a great opportunity when we purchased the home. Didn’t envision being a short term rental host, but it’s been wonderful meeting new people and offering a beautiful, calm, clean place to make your own while you’re here!

What makes this property unique

Purchased the home in 2012. We took it down to the studs and everything was redone professionally. It was a labor of love and it's great to share with people.
