Communication with the host was great. We had requested an early check-in, since our flight into Raleigh was before the listed check-in time, and she was able to accommodate our request. We were in town for NC State's graduation, and the location was perfect for this.
Everything went as instructed. No issues. Midge was fantastic with communication and working with me on check in and check out. The house was a advertised. Excellent location. It was literally a mile away from like everything we wanted to do. Would use again on amy future trips to Raleigh
Location in Raleigh was wonderful. House is just as described. Comfortable accomodating and clean. Communications with the host were great. We really enjoyed our stay
It was just as described in the listing. The bedrooms were a great size and the backyard was wonderful with the bonfire pit. The only sticking point was the side door leading to the backyard got jammed and we couldn’t get back in through the door. Messaged the owner who was incredibly responsive and was able to locate a gate on the other side of the house to get back through the front. Great location near many bars and restaurants on Glenwood Ave that’s walkable and a quick Uber ride to downtown Raleigh.
Updated Urban Bungalow with Secluded Backyard Fire Pit
Wonderful 3 day/2 night stay solution for our family in the heart of the historic district. Fully renovated urban style bungalow with backyard Natural gas fire pit relaxing gathering area which is secluded in private in the backyard surrounded by trees— was a wonderful surprise! Also, both bathrooms, fully renovated with huge tiled showers nice surprise. Bright and open and very nicely appointed complete with Keurig coffee maker and TVs almost in every room of the house. What’s a plus as well. So many nice touches in the renovation we enjoyed our stay immensely.
Yes, I rent the home to stay overnight for a sports event, The check in time was gvien is 4 PM, due to the event being that night, i needed a early check to beat the five o'clock traffic and asked the host if this was possible, the answer wsa yes but the fee would be 15 and to let then know than moring--"Hi , I am unable to set up early check in with my cleaning crew until the day before arrival so please message us back then and we can set it up and I can take payment at that time."Then, on Wednesday, I let the host know I would be in touch Thursday morning, like they asked to confirm and pay the fee. Then, at 9:30 pm on Wednesday, I got a message from the host telling me that I have 30 minutes to let them know if I want early check-in--"I need to know here in the next 30 minutes if you plan to do the early check-in so I can give it to my cleaning crew for tomorrow morning. They need to know the night before"This is odd since I'm not on my phone and was packing to go on my trip. Then I get a message from the host that looks like this Yes, I can accommodate the Early check-in at 1 o’clock. Do you have -----------?The host is asking me for an account number to make a payment, and told me they can't add to the charge, which seems odd. Then the host asked to send by Zelle or leave cash. When we arrived at the property, we found out that the street is for the school pick-up line and drop-off line, which makes it difficult to get to the house and out of the house.
We enjoyed our stay at this house. The host was very responsive and responded to our needs. The location was terrific, even able to walk to downtown area for a conference. Would consider this location again!
