Great place to stay
The property enjoys fabulous views and the owners make you feel really welcome with fresh bread and homemade blueberry jam. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Twillingate area.
Gorgeous view, quiet neighbourhood, tastefully furnished
This property is in Crow Head, a few miles past Twillingate, on a hill overlooking the ocean. It was immaculate, and very comfortably furnished, close to numerous walking trails that wind along the coast in every direction. We were there for 3 nights, and wished we had arranged for a longer stay. The beds were very comfortable, with good quality bedding. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. The property is in what appears to be a newish settlement, with very quiet neighbours. The Twillingate area is stunning, and the people there are so much fun to talk to. We really enjoyed the area and the property.
Our accommodations were great. Location excellent with view of the ocean and terrific sunsets. House was very clean and except for the lack of a dishwasher, had everything we needed to set up housekeeping. Beds were comfy too.
Excellent spot for experiencing the Twillingate area
My wife and I stayed at the Whistler's View cottage in August of 2017 for two nights. It was perfect. The cottage is equipped with everything you would need. The kitchen was well stocked and we even received a fresh loaf of home baked bread along with some fresh blueberry jam. Nice touch.
The amenities were wonderful and the location in Crow Head is a great place to launch Twillingate area adventures from. We did not need all the space but we were glad to have it. The cottage is a perfect place to stay when you are in the area. Check out the Anchor Inn pub for live entertainment and be sure to look up Cecil the Iceberg man to book a boat tour.
thank you for everything you did to make our stay exceptional.
Really nice place with great views and all the amenities.
Loved this place. Loved the Crows Nest Cafe. Loved Twilingate also. Wish we could have stayed longer. One thing to watch out for--one of the nearby beaches has raw sewage running into the ocean. There are no signs posted. So you might want to ask before you go swimming.
Yes, we would stay here again!
We appreciated, very much, that the description of the cottage is exactly what you get. No surprises...just a couple of comfortable nights.
