We stayed at this property during the state fair. It was a clean, comfortable and charming place for us to relax in the evenings. We will be looking to stay again next year. Host was attentive and available when needed.

Downtown Renovated Beauty perfectly ticked off all of our needs! A charming, warm, antique home with a completely updated comfortable interior that allowed our family to stay together while attending two weddings. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean and brightly lit by the sun - complete with added extras (heated toilet seats!), we loved the white comfy couch in the living room, and the use of the garage was appreciated. The location could not have been more ideal - walking distance to coffee, breakfast, and cocktails and only minutes drive to downtown Des Moines. Mariah was very accommodating. She left us snacks and a cupboard with key items for cooking and heating up leftovers. We really enjoyed our stay and happy we chose to Vrbo it rather than staying at a hotel.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The large couch was a wonderful place to hang out. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. Will absolutely be recommending.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! Very accommodating host allowing for earlier check in. The location is in the very charming Sherman Hill neighborhood. The house was spacious, clean, and had all things necessary.

and the hosts are perfect. 6 Adults and very comfortable. This is our 2nd time to stay here. We didn't being our pup this time. Bonus - if you play piano (which my Hubby does)The location is great and an easy distance to everything. We highly recommend
