About the host
Hosted by Tirza Wibel
Hello! My husband, Shane, is a local university professor and I own Stay Awhile Spokane, LLC a boutique short term vacation rental company. Originally from Sisters, Oregon, we have lived in the beautiful Inland NW for more than 10 years. Our family loves to travel and have done home exchanges and stays across Europe and the US. My passion is interior design, hospitality and providing our guests with a wonderful stay and upgraded guest experience.
Why they chose this property
North Spokane is a beautiful residential and safe area of the city just 15 minutes north of downtown with easy access to the sports arenas, performing arts center, airport, etc. Additionally, the north end of town features some of the most beautiful natural areas of the Inland Northwest. It’s not unusual to see deer, wild turkeys, and even moose in this part of town! The natural beauty, outdoor activities, and many local attractions truly make this a special area that we are proud to call home. With many rivers, 100 lakes within 60 miles, and large parks for the family, there is no shortage of things to do here. We love sharing our favorite spots so don’t hesitate to ask! We also have kayaks, paddleboards, and more available for an additional fee.
What makes this property unique
We combine a boutique 5 star hotel quality stay with a high touch personalized guest experience. We do this through top quality amenities, extra services and offering old-fashioned hospitality not found in the usual short term rental. When guests stay with us, they are given the kind of stay that makes them want to stay awhile.
