Nature & Environment One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during your stay.
Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.
During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.
Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.
We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.
What To Bring We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.
Starter Supply Details Housekeeping provides a limited starter supply of essential items, including:
- Toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags - Hand soap, dish soap, and cleaning supplies - Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - Dishwasher pods and laundry detergent - Coffee supplies (pods, grounds, filters, creamer, sugar) - Hot tub chlorine for guest use as directed
These items are intended to get your stay started and are not restocked.
WiFi Disclaimer WiFi is provided as a convenience only and is not considered an essential service of the property. Because cabins are located in rural wooded areas, connectivity and speeds may vary due to weather conditions or regional outages.
Fireplace Disclaimer Fireplaces are available seasonally from October through April for guest enjoyment.
Closing Puff The Magic Cabin is a memorable choice for guests who want a high-capacity Hochatown cabin with a little more personality and polish. It has the space, the entertainment, and the outdoor setup to make your Broken Bow stay feel both comfortable and celebratory.

The cabin was amazing. We had 9 kids of all ages and they all stayed entertained. One recommendation…we wished we had brought our own pans and cookie sheets! Really low supply and quality available. An absolute fabulous place to stay.

Thanks for staying with us and for the great review! So glad the cabin kept all the kids entertained. Appreciate the note about the cookware — we’ll review the kitchen inventory and add better pans and cookie sheets. Hope to host you again!
This house was fantastic for our family reunion. We had 21 people with ample bed space and bathrooms. There was a great supply of pots and pans and plates and glasses in the kitchen. Two hot tubs was a great bonus for that many people. The only recommendations I would have is to upgrade the bedding. There were a few in the group that said the beds and bedding were not as comfortable as some rentals they had stayed. Also for the kitchen- just a few more items would make the stay even better than it was. (the one fridge being average size for such a large group - we had to use coolers for some of the food, a few baking sheets would have come in very handy and a few more large utensils.) All in all- I would recommend this house for a large group. It was great for all ages. The host replied right away to any concerns or issues we had.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad Puff The Magic Cabin worked well for your family reunion — plenty of beds, bathrooms, kitchen supplies, and two hot tubs. I’m sorry some guests found the bedding uncomfortable and that the kitchen could have used a few more items and extra refrigeration. I’ve passed your feedback to the owner and our team; we’re looking into upgraded bedding options, adding baking sheets, larger utensils, extra cookware, and evaluating refrigeration solutions (and will update the listing to note fridge size).
We appreciate the note about our quick responses and your recommendation — we hope to host you again.
This was a staff retreat/vacation and I had 22 people w me. The house was great and there was adequate room for everyone. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were perfect for us. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Large Group House!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house had everything we needed--from towels to dishware, and more. We especially enjoyed having the playscape and hot tub! It was perfect for both kids and adults. Great location too! We'd definitely stay here again!

Great Cabin
Outdoor fireplaces were fantastic, LOVED the porches and the play set and hot tub and game room. Even though it was raining and cool, kids had a blast and didn’t get bored at all. Very kid friendly.
Great place for a big family trip.

We had a blast here! So much space to do things we barely left the house! 10/10!!
We had 16 friends from all over the US come and stay for 3 days. We had an amazing time. The home was spectacular. Beds were comfortable, all we needed in the kitchen was provided. We will definitely book this place again when we have large gatherings. Highly recommend.

This cabin was absolutely breathtaking! Every inch of it was beautiful. My family had the greatest time being able to be together in one house since we all were young! This beautiful place has something for every age!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
The stay itself was great. Time with family was fantastic. Half of the tvs in the cabin did not operate properly. There was a horrible sewage smell. There was a mice in the outdoor grilling area drawers. The wifi was very weak therefore everyone did not have functionality with their devices.

Awesome family outing for our family of 24!!!
Puff the Magic Cabin supplied all of our needs for our family outing of 24. The design of the cabin was great with outdoor covered patio, kids play area, hot tub & fire pit. Inside game room was great. Not to mention the kitchen had everything that was needed for our preparing food & serving 24 people!!!
All of our family had good comments about the cabin & enjoyed it very much!!! We enjoyed celebrating our 59th anniversary with all the family!
Cabin is huge. Plenty of space for 23 of us! The only issue was the cleaners were still there when we arrived for check in at 4pm. They were not done til 530. They were very nice and allowed us to come in while they finished. We let the property management know and they gave us a small refund for the inconvenience.
24 of us ages 1-64 representing 6 family units had a blast in this beautiful and spacious home - the older kids loved the hot tub and tube hammock, while the younger ones enjoyed the play ground - only one complaint and that is the grounds - all gravel that is slippery on the hillside which made it very hard to walk up to the firepit & playground area - we had lots of falls & the back deck needs a step down to the yard. But we would stay here again!!

Cousins Trip 2024
My cousins and I had a complete blast this past weekend. PTMC had more than enough space for my cousins and their spouses (16). We absolutely loved the fact that we all had own bathrooms! The cabin itself was so beautiful. Craig kept in contact with me through the whole process. We will definitely visit again and definitely worth the price and deserving of the 5 stars!! Thank you so much for helping in making our trip memorable!

We're so happy to hear that, thank you! Come back soon!
Puff the Magic Cabin was home to 11 seniors that love to travel together and enjoy life. We certainly made many memories even making s'mores on the fire pit. Rooms are divided both upstairs and downstairs with the living/kitchen in the center. Plenty of room to cook together or visit. The outdoor patio was perfect even on the slow rain days. Thank you for building a cabin that works so well for a large group.
Cabin was great layout for our large family, plenty of beds and bathrooms. Definetly will stay again. There were a few issues hot water went out and needed maintenance. There was only one towel in several bathrooms, and no dish washing towels. Maintenance did respond quickly and had the hot water issues fixed and when the Keurig quit working quickly had us a new one! Any questions or concerns were answered quickly by the property manager. Overall a great cabin with plenty of room and reasonably priced for the size. Definetly will book again!
Check-in was okay! We arrived after 4pm and they were still cleaning, but allowed us to unload our stuff. We did have issues with cell phone service, but it was no biggie. Very spacious and held 25 family members. Best part was everyone had their own bathroom in their room! We had a good time with the jacuzzi and fire pit. There were leftover food and tied trash bags in a couple of the rooms. Remotes didn’t work properly due to dead batteries (easy fix). Other than that it was great! I would most definitely pick this cabin again! Check out was simple!
Amazing place. Amazing communication. Host had to keep referring back to the manual as he didn’t know all details about the property as in how to turn on outside lights. Host also never mentioned that fire place can not be on after April 1st eve though it was in the 50’s out. That was a big bummer. Wouldn’t have booked this place. But overall, very nice place and worth the money

First class excellence
Every year a group of us (between 15-20 women who graduated high school in 1976) come to Broken Bow for a fall retreat. This is our 8th year. Puff the Magic Cabin surpassed all cabins we have rented in every single detail. The beds were all comfortable, the kitchen was loaded with amenities, TV's in every room, HUGE deck on the back with comfortable seating for all of us. 2 gas fireplaces outside with mounted TV's above, a very nice Fire pit with great chairs (we didn't get to use because of the burn ban) which made the gas fireplaces so much more inviting. A play area for children (even some of us old gals played). Plenty of parking, easy to get to, no noise from other cabins around us.
There is absolutely nothing that I/we could complain about. It was perfect in every way. Thank you for such an inviting cabin.

Spacious Beauty!
We enjoyed Spring Break with two other families at Puff The Magic Cabin. The cabin was spacious and the layout was fantastic for our large group. With bedrooms in separate wings, we were able to spread out and enjoy privacy while the common areas provided plenty of options for gathering together. The open kitchen at the center of the home allowed everyone to socialize together whether eating, watching tv, or cozying up to the fireplace. The bunkbed room was perfect for kid movie night with plenty of space to cozy up.
We loved the HUGE back deck and yard. The kids played on the play set and tunnel each day and we all gathered around the fire pit for coffee in the morning and smores in the evening. The hot tub was easy to use and perfectly located on the deck so we could watch the kids play and supervise the grill master.
The finish-out is lovely - modern yet warm and inviting. Plenty of parking in front of the home and a great wooded location just a short drive from town.

Superb vacation home! Space for everyone!
We just spent six fun filled days at puff the magic cabin and if I could rate it higher I would! It truly was a perfectly set up home for a large group , inside and out. It is arranged so everyone gets privacy away from the bustling hub in the center of the house, being the large open kitchen & living room , if they so choose. The large private bathrooms for almost everyone in our group of twenty really made this such a luxurious stay. No complaints with bedding , super comfy and beautiful large bedrooms with tons of closet space. The kitchen is fully stocked for 26 ppl, silverware, dishes, wine glasses etc…. And did I mention the AC system ? Chefs kiss! Four units kept each side of home upstairs and downstairs perfectly cooled for the hot Oklahoma weekend we had on Labor Day . The bunk room is incredible, well thought out with outlets and reading lights for each bed, and a new large television, also huge bathroom attached. Ideal location , just 10-15min to hochatown and broken bow.
