Scenic Escape: River Paradise

Enjoy your morning coffee with a scenic river view from the front deck and listen to the peaceful sounds of nature. Spend time with your loved ones around the fire pit or challenge them to a game of bumper pool in the sunroom. Located only 5 minutes from local restaurants and 25 minutes to French Lick. Great for fishermen with additional parking spot for a small boat (17’ x 48’). The public White River ramp in Shoals and West Boggs Lake are only a short drive away.

The space
Cozy 2 bedroom home with large front deck and fire pit facing the White River. Cottage has large front porch and outdoor area on a hill for expansive river views. New deck added on river bank for fishing and steps for water access. Large yard has plenty of room for lawn games or activities. Includes washer and dryer, games, puzzles, darts, and a bumper pool table.

Close proximity to the essentials but far enough for peace and quiet. Grocery store and restaurants 5 minutes away. Drive to French Lick is less than half an hour.

17’x48’ Gravel parking pad for a trailer or boat. No circle or turnaround, must back in trailer. See photos.

Entire home and 1.5 acre yard available for guest use. Attached garage will not be available at this time.

Home is a single story but not handicap accessible. Guests will be required to climb 4-5 steps for entry. Steps for water access are steep and not recommended for those with mobility issues or small children.

Some firewood is provided and for use in the outdoor fire pit only.

We are pet friendly! The neighbor has a coon dog he keeps put up when our home is rented but she occasionally visits. She is friendly and answers to Lady. Please don't leave personal items unattended outdoors in case she mistakes them for a toy.

We loved the property and had a wonderful time exploring nature and spent a lot of time in the game room. The house was clean and the host was very thoughtful. We ate at all the local food places nearby and give faytastic pizza, bo macs, and velmas all 2 thumbs up.

The house was great! Very clean and cute, and just as listed. View of the river was nice, and we enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck in the morning. Nice amenities. Only issue was the WiFi. We got the TV in the game room to work, but not the living room. Katrina was great with communication though. We would definitely stay again!

Hidden Gem

This place was amazing, beautiful, cute and the host were amazing. Never been to the area gave us all kinds of family adventures to go on and be more pleased with our stay at this retreat. Highly recommend anyone coming down of this area to explore or just to get away. Don't forget to bring your fishing poles

After a hectic day visiting with granddaughter, it was so nice to be able to just sit and relax and enjoy the front porch. Very quiet neighborhood. We heard the woodpecker pecking and birds singing. Overall a very relaxing stay

Cleanest rental ever

This house was spotless and well equipped. The owners have gone above and beyond with making sure you have everything, even a toothbrush. The bed was so comfortable, everything was top notch. You could tell they put a lot of thought and effort into this home. The game room was a huge bonus. We were lucky enough to meet Lady, the neighbors dog. Sweetest baby and just beautiful. Wonderful getaway

The weather might not have been the best but we had the best weekend. Woke up to no power which forced us to venture into town to eat, the highly recommended Mexican restaurant. 10/10 I see why it’s a favorite. We had so much fun playing bumper pool, which we probably wouldn’t have if it wasn’t raining. Beautiful house! Got to meet Lady who was just so adorable and friendly. Would definitely come back.

Isolated as I wanted. Wi Fi was hit and miss and so was cell service but that was okay. Wish I received check out instructions before we arrived. Did not receive them until we left since Wi Fi was spotty. Overall a good stay.
