We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Anita and Theo are great hosts, they responded quickly to the questions we had and were so helpful. Location was ideal, close to Staniel Cay Yacht Club, restaurants and markets. We can’t wait to come back!

The cozy cottage was perfect for my husband and I. Bed was so comfortable! Theo was so helpful with any questions! We rented the golf cart and the boat they offer. If you’re comfortable driving a boat, I recommend doing this! We went to some of the most beautiful beaches and sandbars!

Loved the cottage. Was perfect for just my wife and I. Very close to the Staniel Cay Yacht Club, liquor store/laundromat, convenience store, and the airport. Loved the option for the golf cart and boat. We had a great time.

Easy peasy check-in- Fantastic communication with host. Kitchen is small but very functional. Gas stove, microwave, refrigerator- ice trays, filtered water.

Superb Staniel Cay Getaway

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Cozy Cottage. The island and people were amazing. Anita and Theodore were super friendly ! Couldn’t have been more pleased with our hosts and their cozy cottage. It’s exactly as described! Anita made sure we visited her recommended beaches! So beautiful! Golf cart a must to hop around. Until next time! We’ll be back!

Our stay was great!! Anita and Theodore were great in communicating with us. The cottage was clean and cozy and close to everything. The bed was very comfortable. It had all that we needed. Amazing!

I came to Staniel for a quick 2 night stay and this little cottage was perfect! The location is perfect. Super close to the Yacht Club and very convenient. Theodore was incredibly helpful with getting me set up with the golf cart and boat rentals. Overall I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I will for sure be returning. Thanks!

The apartment was clean and centrally located and was perfect as a self catering holiday as it had all the necessary appliances and utensils to prep your own meal, which was great as there are not many restaurants on the island and being vegetarian it was super convenient. There are also 2 main grocery stores close by to acomodate for this. The apartment has a view of the sea in the distance and with the outdoor deck/patio it was a perfect spot for sundowners each night. Anita was so responsive which made the whole experience another level and she was prepped and ready for all my questions. The hosts will allow you to hire their golfcart which although the island is small, definately comes in handy on those warm days and when out shopping or when beach hopping. The hosts also have a boat and offered to take us out to see all the nearby sites for a very reasonable price. The one thing I would say is the matress was on the soft side which is not my preferance however it was suitably adequate. The apartment is as pictured in the photos, I found it a perfect stay for our 8 days / 7 nights

Perfect location for a relaxing vacation!

We had the most amazing time in Staniel Cay! The Cozy Cottage was in the perfect location and Anita and Theodore are the perfect hosts! We rented their golf cart and explored the island. We enjoyed a different beach every day. We were lucky enough to spend 10 days on the island and I wish we didn’t have to leave. We will be back! TY Anita and Theodore for sharing your home with us!

Great Birthday getaway for my Boyfriend

Property is just as described,with wonderful host. Cozy it was with everything you may need . We bought our meals at the local stores and cooked at the cottage. 20th Anniversary Trip

We had an amazing stay at Honeycomb Cottage! The cottage is small, but it really is perfect for 2 people. The house is centrally located, it's walkable to the Yacht club, Liquormat, and convenience stores. If you don't want to walk, they really do have the best golf cart on the island! And, if you mistakenly charge the golf cart incorrectly (we apparently didn't have the plug in all the way one night) and you happen to get stranded on the side of the road...Theo will pick you up! I don't recommend doing that...but we were extremely grateful for the pickup!! Staniel Cay is an island we look forward to returning to, and if it's just the husband and myself again, we would be happy to stay at Honeycomb cottage again! Great view, great breeze, and very private. Loved every bit of this trip!

Honeycomb Cottage in paradise

We loved our stay at the Honeycomb Cottage. Communication with Anita was great. She answered all of my questions quickly. Theodore was very helpful and even provided easy airport transfers for us. The cottage was peaceful and had all we needed. Beach towels, beach chairs, and an ice chest were even there for our use. We rented their golf cart which was great. The walk up and down the hill to and from the beach would have been challenging without it. We were able to explore the island and its beautiful beaches thanks to the golf cart! Unknowingly we were there during slow season so our only dining out option was Staniel Cay Yatch Club which was very good but… Hurricane Milton extended our stay and Anita was able to accommodate an extra night which was appreciated greatly. We rented a boat from Dreko several days. We loved exploring the nearby cays. I can’t recommend the Honeycomb Cottage enough. We can’t wait to visit again!

Cozy Cottage is the way to go.

From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Anita is truly a joy to work with and is amazing. The cottage is as described….beautiful. Wonderful location! Theodore was awesome in helping us from/to the airstrip. We will be back soon! THANK YOU!!

Very friendly host - nice and comfortable cottage

The host was very friendly and kind to us. The cottage is lovingly furnished and offers every comfort. Only the view of the beach is limited. You can use a golf cart (not free), which is really great to go to the mini market, restaurant, beach etc.. We enjoyed our stay.

A few days in paradise

We arrived and were picked up by Anita and she did a quick tour and gave us some hints of things we should do and see. We had talked with her in advance and she arranged a boat rental for us. We also rented a golf cart from her and all of this made for an absolutely perfect vacation. We can’t wait to return

A Great Getaway!

A well maintained cottage with very accommodating hosts. Anita and Theodore were very helpful picking us up at the airport, arranging a boat rental and making sure any questions were answered. Rent their gulf cart for sure to explore the island. You will be a 2 minute boat ride to Thunderball Grotto and 5 minute boat ride to pig beach. Excellent snorkeling in the area as well. The most beautiful waters I have ever seen. Highly recommend.

All around great!

Anita was fantastic and her husband Theodore was just as great! Easy check in process and great cozy cottage in perfect location close to the marina. Golf cart was the best we ever rented in the Bahamas. Thank you both so much and we will be back!!

Artist, Wife, Mother of two. After growing up in the smallest state ( Beautiful Rhode Island) , it is only fitting that I fell in love with my Husband, Theodore, who was born and raised on one of the smallest Islands in the world, BEAUTIFUL Staniel Cay.

My family and I LOVE boating, fishing, hiking, and exploring the endless beaches and uninhabited islands of the Exumas Cay. When I am not running our vacation rental, you will most likely find me in my home art studio where I practice the arts of block printing and metalsmithing.
