Hazelwood is an ideal home for your family vacation! Prime location nearby the Epic Universe — the new Universal Studios theme park!

This 1600+ sq ft, single-story home is located less than 5 miles from Walt Disney World, in the gated High Grove community. You will have access to the community club house, a cyber cafe with Wi-Fi, a community pool and spa, fitness room, community game room, outdoor kids' play area and more!

Everything you need for your ideal Orlando-area vacation is waiting for you at Hazelwood!

Enjoy all that Orlando has to offer such as the theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, Discovery Cove, Aquatica and other attraction such as I-Drive, City Walk & Disney Springs; Shopping malls such as The Mall at Millenia, The Florida Mall and The Outlet Mall. Sports events include Orlando City soccer and Orlando Magic basketball.

Just over an hour drive away you will find some of Florida’s favorite beaches such as Cocoa Beach, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, New Smyrna Beach & Daytona Beach.

Family Disney Holiday

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A brilliant family holiday was had here at this house. It was central to the shops Walmart and Publix were within an easy 10 min drive. All disney parks were reached within half hour some are closer, and so easy to get to down the 192. The house was clean very well presented, full kitchen utilities including dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker microwave. All found exactly like the advertised pictures on Florida Spirit website.Florida spirit’s detailed instructions on entry including gate number and house entry were perfect. We had to contact them due to a faulty kettle switch and within hours they had arrived with a brand new one, asking if everything else was ok and to contact with any issues. I can appreciate that we were up in the morning and out at the parks early and late home, but even so we did manage a couple of pool days and enjoyed some pool floats and noodles that were in the garage. For younger guests there’s pushchairs/strollers for you to use which was a nice addition, iron/ironing board. Plenty of local shops in the area, including a British pub just outside the gates. Like I said we mainly did Disney and the house was perfect as a base. Can recommend this home as a consideration if planning your holidays

Home away from home!

Everything was as described, very safe neighborhood and close to amenities and parks. Had trouble reserving (because of Venmo) but Brian was very understanding and went out of his way to make the process easier. Will definitely stay here again on future occasions

Great time

Overall we found the house to be really clean , neighborhood was safe and quite, the only thing we all which would had work better was the pool heater which was never able to warm it the pool but it did warmed the jacuzzy which we were able to use.

We have rented through VRBO for years with our family and this was the first time we ever experienced a towel shortage. (2) small white hotel style towels are provided per guest...that's it. Every other house we've ever rented had PLENTY of towels. They are cheap, stock up people. Luckily my mom checked in and we came a few days later, so we put extra in our suitcases...but that's a bummer to have to do.

The overall stay was good. Location was good close enough for everything yet far enough to be out of the insanity of the Disney area. House was perfect for our family. We did have a problem with the hot tub. It was not functioning and they did someone out to look at it. Still didn’t work, but having the clubhouse close by with a hot tub was convenient. They were quick to refund the money so we were satisfied with that. It was unfortunate and left my family a little disappointed with it but overall we had a great time.

DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very disappointing stay, perfect example of false advertisement, and the worst Airbnb/VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. Our biggest issue was the pool. We paid $20 per day extra for the heated pool option and the pool was NEVER even like warm. We brought it to the hosts attention the very first day since one of the days there we were going to have a pool day. Not only did they not do anything to help, but instead claimed that because it was cold outside the pool could not get hot. We literally booked this place for the heated pool as it was advertised and paid extra because we knew the weather was going to be cold. Having a pool of my own and living in SW FL I know that you set the temperature and the pool heats to that set temperature. We couldn’t even go in the pool it was so cold. We also booked this VRBO because it advertised it was within 5 miles from Disney. Again false advertisement. It was 40 minutes to Disney which cost more than we were expecting. They did the bare minimum - No extra shower towels, no pool towels. No extra TOILET PAPER. We only had one roll for 3 nights and 4 days. We ran out and had to use Kleenex from the gas station. The place is DIRTY with very out-dated furniture. A layer of dust on everything including the air vents, the lamps, the blinds and even the walls. I would not recommend a stay here, especially if you’re in Orlando for the parks.

Amazing Family Stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We booked for the week of xmas to new years. Location was close to all our shopping needs, and there were several food options close by. The house itself was exactly how it's described in the listing. The service company was amazing in it's response to any issues. We had a problem with the pool safety buzzer on the sliding doors malfunction in the late evening 9-10pm, and they had a repair person come by within 30mins. Would definitely book this house again.

Wonderful clean home close to everything

My family of 5 stayed for 7 days. Great community, super clean house, with space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The company was easy to work with! I can't wait to come back again. Very affordable which is very much appreciated in these times

Reviewer Comments: Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would consider renting this home again in the future. There were two noticeable items broken in the home upon our arrival. I contacted Florida Spirit right away and they offered to send someone, to which we declined as the two items did not affect our stay. They did say they’d send someone upon our departure which was satisfactory to us. It does seem like the carpet could use a cleaning throughout the whole home and while there were certainly kitchen and bath items provided, there was nothing “above and beyond” as we’ve experienced at other vacation rentals of similar price levels.

No one ever showed up. The coffee pot blew the breaker one day and the next it died. I was told someone would bring a new one, but that also did not happen. The beds are on their very last leg and all of the linens could be replaced. The pool and spa lights did not work. Overall it’s a cheap stay in a 1 star rental.

Family Disney Trip

A Great family home in a gated community, The 3 full bathrooms was so convenient and the hot water never ran out with 5 adults & 2 children!! The Kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Bonus was heated pool it was great and the hot tub after walking miles daily at the parks was a great way to end the day! No need to worry about the little ones opening doors to the pool the alarms will let you know immediately.

Responsive Office

Other than the issues we had with the lock on the first night, the manager’s office was responsive. Whomever was on-call the first night, did not answer their phone, which would have been maddening had the issue with the lock not ‘resolved’ itself. I was contacted the next morning by the manger, and everything seemed to be in order. When we left the following morning, the lock did not work. One call later and the office had the lock replaced (or possibly repaired). Thanks for easy communication (except for the on-call person), and easy to understand checkout procedures.

Clean house in a good location

Only had a couple of issues and the property management group responded quickly. Beds are a little harder than I like but that's the only complaint I had. Pool was nice and my son really enjoyed it.
