Very happy with accommodations! Very quiet and comfortable. Exactly as described- would stay again.
I was looking for a quiet, safe place to stay that was a good alternative to a hotel. I was very happy with Cathy's property. We have already booked our next stay!
It was a wonderful stay. Randy and Kathy were very nice people. The place was very charming and the neighbor hood was nice and quiet. We'll definitely stay again.
We needed a nearby VRBO to stay in while our plumbing was being replaced on our nearby home. This cozy suite was a perfect spot. Convenient to amenities, our favorite hikes, restaurants etc.
The suite has a unique character with lots of neat antiques and artworks. Very well maintained.
Would stay again for sure.
Warmth with everything I needed!! I came from Yuma to visit my daughter & family ~ was able to rest & recharge in Cathy’s beautiful B&B.
Full of her family history and interesting, amazing furnishings. The shower/deep tub topped my list of awww moments!

Cathy was the best host at this amazing stay. The home was cozy with all the vintage decor. There were too many to mention you have see it to believe it. All the amenities were there to meet your needs of comfort.
The property was private and very accommodating. There were many local restaurants and taverns near the residence. Really enjoyed everything.

Cozy and comfortable.
Perfectly comfortable place to come “home” to while visiting aging parents in a nearby assisted living facility. Bedroom was pretty tight quarters and getting in and out of shower/bath not for large or physically challenged people, only reason not to give 5 stars.

Lovely little place with all the amenities of a hotel room
We really enjoyed our stay here, it was the perfect place to crash during a weekend of wedding events. The bed was comfortable, and the bathtub was huge! The location was close to the highway and super essy to run into town. It is best if you plan on eating out a lot, as there is just a microwave to prepare food. Also, the wifi wasn’t strong enough to do much of anything.

Lovely suite!
This is a beautiful suite that was in a great location to drive to some beautiful locations. The hosts gave us suggestions of what to see, and they did not disappoint! The suite is charming, private, convenient, and has a very comfortable bed. There were treats in the frig when we arrived (the lemon cake was to die for!!!), and the hosts thought of everything. The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is that the suite is decorated within an inch of its life, and it made me nervous that we were going to damage something. For a vacation place I prefer something a little more stripped down--all the necessary amenities, but not a lot else. Other than that, which is just personal taste, this was a wonderful place to stay. I walked up the street and picked 3 cups of delicious blackberries. They were growing wild everywhere. There is also a walking path a short distance away which I used both mornings we were there.

About the host
Hosted by Randy and Cathy Jensen/ Property Owners
Randy and I have lived in Skagit County all of our lives. I am from a very large family. My great great grandfather homesteaded here in 1881 and the property is still in the family. “My husband is an engineering technician, and I’m an event designer and coordinator both working for a local aerospace company.”
We have 3 children. We have been blessed with 6 wonderful grandchildren. We also love traveling .
Why they chose this property
We both grew up on large country farms. When we were looking for a home we wanted a house in a quiet private neighborhood and when we found this home we new it was perfect for us. It had a nice private back yard and wonderful gardens and we wanted a fireplace and this one had two.
Let our three room Suite be your home away from home. Through your own private entrance is the bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed. The private bathroom offers a raised tiled bathtub/shower, granite vanity and marble floor. An antique crystal chandelier in the bathroom provides soft light, perfect for a relaxing bath. The tastefully decorated living room has a gas fireplace to make this place cozy, and a small table for games or having your continental breakfast in the morning. there is a satellite TV, DVD player and wi fi as well. The living room and the bedroom are separated by leaded glass French doors. Your privacy is insured by locked rustic double doors. Your suite is the perfect location from which to relax or venture out to explore the Pacific Northwest as we are just minutes away.
