5 dormitorios, 4 baños: esta casa frente al golfo recién construida y hermosamente amueblada cuenta con una gran sala espaciosa y abierta con vista al Golfo, cocina gourmet con encimeras de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, lavaplatos, horno de microondas y todas las comodidades del hogar. La baldosa cerámica está en toda la casa. Las dos master suites principales se abren a la cubierta frontal del golfo. Hay TV por cable en todas las habitaciones, con un televisor inteligente de 65 pulgadas en la sala de estar, DVD, Internet inalámbrico, equipo de música, lavadora y secadora. Las habitaciones 1 y 2 que dan al Golfo, tienen camas king y sus propios baños, la habitación 3 tiene una cama King, la habitación 4 tiene dos camas Queen y la habitación 5 tiene dos juegos completos de literas y baño; y es perfecto para los niños. La acogedora cubierta frontal cubierta / abierta ofrece sol y sombra y vistas panorámicas del hermoso Golfo de México. La cubierta del lado de la calle se enfrenta al sonido.

Friends and Fun

We come to Dauphin Island at least every other year and every house we have stayed has be wonderful! This is not a resort type of area. This is for the family who wants to slow things down and relax!! It is a very quite island. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Week at Maggie-G

We had 14 family members staying a week this June and loved it! Every space of the home was used, but it’s very spacious. Some updates could be used - bathrooms are a little dark. Beds not the most comfortable. The sand under the house for parking was really soft and deep so 4 wheel drive was required. But the AC works great and the location to the beach is unmatched. My husband was not a fan of the streaming only tv service, but we managed to survive ;). Definitely would stay here again.

Wonderful wet week

The weather was not very cooperative the week we stayed, but the house has a deck underneath that was great, it shielded us from the rain while giving the feel of still being on the beach. We had a great time even with the weather being so rainy. We reserved the Maggie G for next year, can't wait to come back!

Great ocean front house!

Lovely ocean views! Right on the beach. No carrying beach equipment! Lovely open kitchen & family area. Well equipped for our family with a range of ages. Kids loved the bunk room! Would definitely rent again.

Best beach vacation

Loved the beach house! Especially the fact it was right on the beach! It was clean and tidy, very spacious, and had plenty of room for all! Everything we needed was there, except there was no broom which we purchased and left for anyone to use to clean up the sand that gets tracked in because we didn’t want to leave a mess ;-) plenty of seating in the dining area and outdoors, loved having the grill. It was nice having two barrels for trash and pick up twice a week with there being 10 of us. Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Cable didn’t work in my SILs room but didn’t bother me (couldn’t tell you if mine did because I never turned it on haha). There was a nice library of books, plenty of board games, beach toys, towels. Plenty of dishware kitchen towels, bath towels, extra blankets. Plenty of pillows. We brought more than we needed to be prepared. Wasn’t expecting to have litterally everything! There is a market (Ship and Shore near by on the island) however we recommend shopping at Greers on the mainland which was on the way and has a larger selection as well as meats and other groceries. The Ship and shore is great for forgotten items and beverages though! Would highly recommend and will be looking into a future trip for sure!

Great house! Only TV worth a dang is in the living room all others had no cable or satellite

I was provided wrong WiFi password, TVs in bedrooms didn’t have cable/ satellite and remotes didn’t work. A/C went out but repair man was quick to come fix. Didn’t have access to the elevator which would have been very helpful! Beautiful house though.

Beautiful house right by the water

It was a beautiful house. Inside was nice and spacious for me and my family. The kitchen had most of what was needed to cook. Literally the only complaint was that of the 5 bedrooms only 1 tv worked AT ALL. But other than that ie was legit amazing. We LOVED the lower deck. The house was right in the water. Would absolutely rent again and all ready looking into renting it next year!

Review of stay

House was great and very spacious with a great deal of privacy. Electrical issues in the kitchen with several outlets out along with several televisions not working and VCR not working. I disclosed to management and hopefully they got it repaired before the next renters. Overall it is a great house.

The house was huge-could sleep 18 people easy! Location and distance to ocean was amazing!

The house was amazing but there are things in the listing and in pics that are different. We only had one working TV-in living room-and it was only channels that came on the tv itself. Could’ve been cleaner, but was decent. Washing machine is pretty nasty. The steps down to the water have been moved to the side of the house. The DECK UNDER THE HOUSE WAS GREAT! Wonderful views from here! Overall it was great-would definitely stay here again

Almost perfect. So close.

This house has a wonderful layout. No one draws the short straw for bedrooms because they are all great! The beds are comfy and even with nine people we never felt crowded. The location is fantastic. You are steps from your own beach that you don't have to share. The outdoor space is wonderful and roomy, too. The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are nice. The washer was moldy smelling, but hey...I didn't go there to do laundry. One nice thing is that there were extra beach towels, sunscreen, and bug spray. There are some minor issues: Some of the furniture is broken or limping and there are missing furniture cushions and torn screens. Those weren't a big deal, but for over $5,000 for the week, I expected more. The TV in the main room is kind of a big deal. While we were there, the weather was a little sketch and it would have been nice to have movie nights. The problem is that the TV is pretty old - definitely not a smart TV - and there's a growing starburst in the center distracting from everything you watch. The biggest problem we had by far is that the wifi is terrible, nay...almost non-existent. If you are on a working vacation, do not rent this house. With spotty cell service, we couldn't even use a hotspot reliably. This was a big problem because we all had planned to work while vacationing. We also had an issue when the power went out in one of the bedrooms, however it was addressed within hours. All things considered, I would stay here again if I didn't have to work and the TV was updated.

Very good but could have been great

We really enjoyed our time here overall but there were a few issues that keep it from being 5 stars. The floor plan is great. We had 12 people staying there and it never felt the least bit crowded. The kitchen is laid out very well and is good if you plan to cook a lot. The living room has plenty of seating also. One thing that was disappointing was the TV setup. We had a couple of cooler rainy days and it would be nice to have a tv/cable setup from this century. The TV has a major issue where you can see the back light shining through the TV and there are several spots that are extremely bright compared to the rest of the screen. Also, the cable box literally does not have an HDMI port on it so you can’t watch anything in HD. I can’t even guess how old the box must be, HDMI has been around for well over a decade. The house is steps from the beach. It was so convenient to be that close to the house. The back two bedrooms open up to the deck and we left our door open with the screen shut and let the sound of the waves put us to sleep each night. The main issue we had was with the cleaning crew. Our first night we went to put the kids to bed in the bunk room and every single bed had a TON of sand in it. There is no way the sheets were cleaned before we arrived. This made getting the kids to bed WAY harder than it should have been. The last thing you want when you’ve been driving all day is to have to keep them awake longer trying to figure out something because the sheets were dirty. Overall the floors were extremely sandy when we arrived also. It’s at the beach, I know, sand gets everywhere. But we were able to keep the floors relatively clean for the week with sweeping and vacuuming. Much cleaner than when we arrived. Everything else seemed to be clean overall. Overall we were happy with our stay and would likely book it again based on the location and home. But if these few minor issues were corrected it would have been a 5 star stay for sure.

Overall very good

Stains on mattress pad (blood) asked for a new one to be delivered. No response. Unacceptable that cleaning staff did not see it and change. Sheets were stained and dingy we washed them ourselves. The cleaning service was leaving at 6:30pm as we were arriving.

Susan, We are sorry for your issues. We checked our messages for your rental week and did not see one from you. Do you know when you called as we would like to see how we overlooked your call. Our office keeps extra supplies for issues that may occur & we are on call even in the evenings. I will say that sometimes sheets do appear dingy even after washing & this probably means they should be replaced. The crews do wash all bedding weekly, especially now during these difficult times. Sorry you had to deal with this situation. Thanks so much..

Terrific house right on the beach

We had 14 family members stay in the house for a week. It was a fantastic experience. The area is quiet and the house is just feet from the water. The layout of the house was perfect for our group, with a large open area in the middle and 5 bedrooms. I would highly recommend this house.

We loved this property! It was very well stocked, even with a first- aid kit! It’s right on the beach! We spent every morning sipping coffee and listening to the waves from the large deck.

Great Vacation Stay

We loved the beach house and the many bedrooms for my large family. Kids had so much fun on the beach and playing games when the rains came. A few minor repairs to screens door and towel bars would have been nice. I loved the island and the people were so nice. Hope to be back sometime.

Our stay at the Maggie G was an awesome experience!!!

My family and I have stayed on Dauphin Island several years and our stay at Maggie G was by far one of our best experiences! The house was super nice and the beach was beautiful. This is the perfect house for a family with children!!! I was also very impressed with how easy the booking process was. The Realtors were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the Maggie G!!
