Relax your cares away in this Gulf front jewel with room for the whole family! This cozy condo has everything you could want for an affordable dream vacation. The balcony overlooks the pool area, the beach, and miles of Emerald Coast. Kids will be happy with their very own bunks that have pocket doors for peace and quiet at nap time. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook a great meal for the family. Enjoy it in the living area or seated on the balcony to take in the views and gentle ocean breezes. We also have exact same unit right next door (see VRBO #394570). The Master has a great king size bed to relax in after a long day in the sun and a TV. The sleeper sofa in the living area makes room for two more to sleep comfortably. Listen to music on the stereo, play a movie, or connect to WiFi to surf the web.

Speaking of surf...Get out and have some fun!! The beach offers tons of things for the entire family to enjoy. Beach chairs and umbrellas for rent as well as jet skis, parasailing, and much much more. Gulf Shores has many fun shops, amusement parks, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, boat rentals, and the list goes on. This will be a vacation to remember!

I do not recommend this condo the anyone. It was nasty. Rotting boards under kitchen cabinets. Bathroom vanity looked like it had been chewed on by rats. Rugs smelled of mold and mildew and the shower curtain smelled of urine. We had to replace it before we could shower. Bedroom carpet was so nasty your feet turned black walking on it. Old and out dated furniture looked and smelled like it came out of grandma's cellar. Scale 1-5 I give it a -10. Do not stay here! The one star I rated it was for the view definitely not the condo.

Owner's Response: We are sorry that you had to experience some of these issues, had they been reported to us sooner we could have taken care of them. The owner has replaced the boards under the sink that had become worn out from overuse. They have also replaced the rugs that had gotten ruined. We have had the carpets cleaned and they are looking into making updates in the future. We wish you had reported these issues during the stay so they could have been taken care of immediately.

Nice view. Unit needs repair and updating

Toilet overflowed because valve needs replaced. Peeling paint on bathroom vanity was evidence it had overflowed several times before. The view was fantastic.

You did report the problem with the toilet upon departure and it has since been fixed, we just wish you would have contacted us sooner so that we could have fixed it earlier in your stay to make it more pleasant for you. We had no prior reports of the toilet overflowing or it would have been fixed sooner. The peeling paint is likely from high humidity in the area and will be looked at soon as the owner is slowly making updates to the unit. We hope to see you again for your next vacation so that we can show you a better experience.

Needs some attention

The Seacrest as a whole was fine. We had to call the housecleaning service because our sheets were so thin they wouldn't stay on the bed and there was no mattress pad on the bed. The bathroom needs some shelves because there isn't room for personal items. It would also be nice to have hooks on the inside of the bathroom & bedroom door. The rugs in the kitchen and family room area hadn't been cleaned for some time. There were no clocks anywhere in this unit except for the microwave.The closet in the bedroom was full of stuff. We did have a great time. We have stayed in Gulf Shores for years. We aren't trying to be picky, but feel like this particular unit needs some attention.

Memorial Day Weekend 2015

This condo does have a great view of the beach! It was very roomy, and nice to have an elevator to get all of your stuff up to the room. It is located on the west part of Gulf Shores, which is quiet and perfect for a relaxing weekend. I also noticed the clean smell as soon as we walked in, and the place did seem pretty clean. My only complaint/suggestion is that this unit needs to be updated. We got a condo because we wanted a kitchen to cook to save money. The stove is pretty old and there are NO numbers on any of the dials. When we were cooking with the oven, we had to guess the temperature. The furniture is very outdated and the mattresses and pillows are not very comfortable and seem pretty old. I'm in my mid 30's and my back hurt every morning from the lumpy bed. The sink in the bathroom needs to be replaced as there is a ton of rust in it that is not very appealing.

Overall, this place is in a great location and has a great view of the ocean. I would stay here again only if there were no other condos available. To the owner: Please do some investing in your property. It will be worth it in the long run because people will want to come back. Make the place pretty. The dated decor and the overwhelming number of palm trees is unattractive. My grandmother might like it, though.
