This home was amazing! Beautiful spaces, extra thought and care is put in for the weary traveler! The host is very responsive and kind. If we come back to Indianapolis, we will look to stay here again!
House was exactly as described and perfect for our weekend trip! The house was renovated and offered anything we might have needed. Cute neighborhood. Having access to the garage was a huge bonus for parking. Owner communicated quickly and clearly. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay at the Hoosier house! It was perfectly clean, easy to access and lots of space!! Highly recommended if you are traveling to Indy. We were able to get to all of our activities downtown super easily!!
This home is absolutely stunning! It’s extremely spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern with amazing tubs and showers. The layout allows quietness between rooms and the beds and linens were quite comfortable and plentiful. It’s an 8-10 Uber to Lucas Oil Stadium which made for convenience for our trip. Highly recommended!
This home is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. It also comes with the most wonderful surprise Blubbers the cat who comes to visit and greet you every day. The home is so well laid out and the attention to detail is absolutely amazing. Great area and a great host. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend to everyone.
John was a great host. The house and descriptions were exactly what we asked for. We were in Indianapolis for the Cardinals and Colts game. We made a trip to South Bend to see a Notre Dame game as well. The location was ideal for our trip. Communication with John was outstanding throughout our stay. We had no issues and really enjoyed all of the amenities at this property. Give The Vault a try, only a few blocks from the property, and go for the Hoosier Sandwich it was delicious. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Indianapolis.

So glad you tried the Vault out. We haven’t been yet but have heard great things about it and our friend’s son owns it. Thanks again for staying with us.
Pros:House is fantastic, everyone in our group was blown away. Master suite was amazing. Blubbers the neighborhood cat was a big hit.Cons:Access to the garage is pot-holed gravel alley... a bit sketchy on a motorcycle. Not a deal breaker.

Thanks for staying with us this past weekend. We are glad you enjoyed the house. Appreciate your honest feedback on the pot-holed gravel alley. We have made several calls to the city to come out and fill the pot-holes but I do understand gravel is not the best when on a motorcycle. The feedback helps us so that we can at least add this to our listing for future bookings so greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
Overall the house had been nicely redone and was suited perfect for our needs. Great proximity to Lucas Oil where we were attending a 3 day conference. Upstairs was very warm, but there was a window a/c unit and some box fans that kept it reasonable considering the day time had 100 degree heat indices that week. Hosts had all the little essentials in the kitchen and some of the most frequently forgotten in the bathrooms as well.
John provided detailed and informative instructions with all the information I needed promptly after my booking. He checked in on us to make sure everything was going okay and had incredible communication throughout our stay. Meeting Blubbers the neighborhood cat was a highlight and John provided peanuts for us to share with the gorgeous local squirrels. The house was immaculate and felt very modern but in a comfortable homey way. There was plenty of space for larger groups than ours and the bathrooms and kitchen were incredible. The property was very conveniently located for many of the highlights of Indy and had great street and garage parking. I would highly suggest this location for a visit to Indy for whatever occasion. I will stay here again.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
While the host seemed very welcoming and responsive leading up to, and during our stay, that perception quickly changed after check-out. Suddenly an invoice was issued for an unfounded dog cleaning fee, based off an accident in a second floor room. Our dog was physically blocked from going upstairs by a gate on the stairs, so such a claim was entirely ludicrous. The owners accusations and entirely unprofessional behavior did not stop there, as he has proceeded to send accusatory and threatening messages.

As if, out of the blue, I decided to make up a story about a dog urinating on my rug? We allow pets to stay at our property out of kindness, and we had no deposit fee because we had faith in our guests.. This experience changes all of that. Today, we changed our pet policy to require a deposit. If we are confronted with blantant lies, we have no other choice. We have had a 5-star review across the board, every single guest, until this unprofessional, dishonest group came along. Upon his departure, he commented. "Thanks for the stay, your house is wonderful". Once confronted with the urine and dog mishap upstairs, our house is subpar? Every host can relate to a guest who uses their review to retaliate for their own shortcomings, and here we are. VRBO customer support promised me today that if this were to happen, they would, in the representative's own words, "most definitely remove it".
It goes without saying, BEWARE HOST!
