Our group of 8 adults thoroughly enjoyed our few days at this house. It was a great value and the location and amenities, especially the outdoor deck with a lake view were wonderful. We would definitely stay there again!
We had a great time. House was clean and as expected. Right on the lake.

Nice time
Thank you fir allowing us to stay in your house. We enjoyed ourselves.
The home and property is beautiful. Even though the weather was a bit on the cold side we were still able to visit Hershey Park and enjoy The Works in Reading PA with the teenagers. The small waterfall on the lake was absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely amazing hosts. We stayed here for six months and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is spacious and has everything you need. The woods are beautiful. We truly feel like this is our home away from home.

Beautiful old house with plenty of space.
Nice lake setting with ducks and a waterfall and trails for walking. It was the best stocked kitchen for cooking of any home I have rented. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you.

Wonderful home on a lake!
We fished every day from the shore and on a small boat. We kayaked every day too. Such a beautiful park! The home was just what we needed. Enough space for 5 adults and 3 kids. We loved our trip.
The property sits on a lake in an area surrounded by farmland. A quiet getaway that is close to local attractions such as Hershey Park, Knoebels, and Amish country. We revisit every year to see family in the area. The back porch area overlooking the lake is a great view and where most of our time is spent.
We stayed at this beautiful lake house for a wedding that was taking place at the pavilion by Sweet Arrow Lake Which was a short walk to everywhere we needed to be. The house had so much character and charm. I definitely recommend for families and couples that are looking for a weekend (or week!) away by the lake. Hosts were great and the check in and checkout process was easy. We would definitely stay again.
A beautiful big yet cozy home. The view from living room is amazing. I love that you can do a trail right from the backyard. Although the kitchen is fully stocked, we ate out or ordered in because there are great local restaurants. All in all, great getaway with plenty to do, or to just do nothing and enjoy the quiet and scenery.
An excellent cottage in great condition, perfect for a few days away from home. Every room had an air conditioner so we were able to stay cool despite the heat and humidity outside. Outdoor deck, screened in porch, and good size living room/dining room gave us plenty of space for socializing and hanging out. Neighbors were friendly and the lake was beautiful. We would love to stay again.
Excellent location and communication. We spent 3 nights at this property and loved it!! The location on the lake is very peaceful and there is plenty to do for outdoor activities. The house has everything you need. It is a wonderful place for a getaway to enjoy some peace and quiet or to get away to experience the great outdoors. Water fall in Sweet Arrow Lake park is a wonder. Rita is on top of everything and make our stay a great experience. Thanks!
A neat older home with a lot of character, perched on a wooded hill above a charming stretch of lakeside shoreline. Big common rooms, great screen porch and deck. Awesome fire pit down by lake and perfect place to launch kayaks or canoe (just a bit hard getting them down to the water from the house, and back). Parking was tight but can fit 3 cars. Overall a nice lakeside get away.

Walk to the Waterfall!
Beautiful woodsy surroundings with a waterfall just a short hike from the cottage. The views of Sweet Arrow Lake from the deck and screened in porch are lovely. Be sure to check for events at the park headquarters. We heard an amazing concert given by 2 professors from Penn State who sang and played old, unusual instruments and taught us about them.
The covered, screened-in porch with the deck was amazing. We seriously spent 90% of our waking hours enjoying the screened-in porch.
Bedrooms were comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need; pots, pans and utensils.
Walk down to the lake to fish or kayak. No swimming per the lake regulations -oh well.
Playground less than a 1/4 mile away on the lake trail.
Waterfall is a quick walk away.
Our family ate well, slept well, relaxed and was able to enjoy all that Sweet Arrow lake had to offer.
The houses in the area are generally older and this one is no exception. There is some wear and tear, but honestly, it adds to the personality of the place. House was modern in the things that counted, like appliances, tvs, bathroom fixtures. The lake is beautiful, nice walking trail, lots of nature within reach. The ducks and geese were constantly greeting us, as were the rabbits. Really enjoyed our time there, the thing that made it special was the time on the screened in porch, surrounded by dozens of trees enveloping the house. Very sweet and memorable time spent.
This comfortable older home has plenty of room for up to 8 people to sleep, eat and relax, including a big dining/living room, screened porch and deck. The lake is beautiful, and we enjoyed following the paths along the shoreline to the playground, the waterfall and the walk across the dam. The two kayaks provided are a nice addition. We launched the kayaks right from the back of the property and the little kids loved the shallow shoreline.
When the coffeemaker didn’t work, Rita and Dave provided a new one the same day.
In the area, we enjoyed: Pottsville’s Yuengling tour and also the new Black Rock Brewing Company for good beers and stuffed pretzels; in Pine Grove, dinner at Brickyard Bistro and breakfast at Buddy's Log Cabin; Hope Hill lavender farm; wine and wine slushies at Stone Mountain Wine Celllars; the hike to Bordner’s Cabin in Swatara State Park; and the pretzel factory, Wilbur Chocolates and other shops in Lititz.

Beautiful place very convenient
My family and I all loved staying here. The house is very big and exceptionally clean. All the amenities were there which made it very easy. 4 adults and 4 kids slept comfortably as well as ate breakfast and dinner there every night. The neighbors were also very nice and very helpful. The house had three TVs all with DirecTV plus the kids channels, and also wifi for us adults. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need as far as pots, pans, plates, etc.
As for the convenience, we could not have asked for a better location. Beside the fact that it was by a beautiful lake in a very nice park it was centrally located to the amusement parks. We visited Hershey Park, Dorney Park, and Knoebels Park during our stay and the house was within a 45 minute drive of each park. The market was like 3 minutes away and as an added bonus there is a beer distributor 5 minutes away.
Overall it was a great experience. Rita was very nice and very easy to work with. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended for both kids and adults.

Relaxing, Romantic, and Comfy
We have been very fortunate to have stayed at West Lake Drive on Sweet Arrow Lake for several weeks and must say it has been a very peaceful and serene holiday.
The owners, Rita and Dave, have put a lot of love and hard work into this older home. The place must be at least 100 years old, but they have upgraded it very well and it is comfy and the area is mostly quiet
When you walk into this home it really feels like home!
The kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you would need to cook a great meal for two, or for a full family of 4 to 8 people.
It was great to have a washer, dryer and dishwasher, huge TV and internet.
We are about 100 yards from the shoreline and we have fished almost daily from the quiet banks of the lake and taken some great photographs on the trail that winds around the lake. The ducks, geese and squirrels add a “forested” touch and are a welcome addition to our stay.
There are several great restaurants nearby in Pine Grove as well as grocery stores nearby. We recommend O'Neals Irish Pub for lunch and dinner and BG's Market for shopping.
Rita and Dave have been very accommodating and are always on top of any little details that “pop” up.
The rooms are very comfortable and overall we give it a top score for cleanliness, comfort and coziness.
Our hats are off to these folks who have allowed us to stay in their vacation home.
