Whether you are a Fisherman, Golfer or just want to rest and reconnect with friends or family you found the perfect spot.
When you walk in you will find an updated kitchen, a privately placed spacious Master bedroom along with a quaint and charming bunk room.
Our uniquely designed gathering room is complimented with a slider that goes out to the large wrap around deck that you will enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and sunrise.
The basement holds the laundry room along with a walkout to the beach.
Lakefront amenities include: an expansive lakefront beach, Brick pavers with an outdoor shower and a Fire pit to cuddle up to.
We are very close to the boat launch that you can bring your boat to enjoy. We have paddle boards and a peddle boat to use if that's more your speed.
You might feel like your way out in the country but 3 miles from the bungalow there's a convenience store that has Gasoline and basic groceries. 5 miles away is a 3rd generation Fruit and Vegetable stand. and within 10 Miles away is an 18 Hole golf course, Target, Walmart, and much much more.

I would happily stay here again. This was a really great location for me to visit my 87-yr old mom in Fenton. I had her over a couple of times and she only had to navigate one step down to the wrap around deck and come around to the back entrance. Grill was great and the kitchen was very well equipped-coffee, knives, pans, everything required (except a grater). Good internet to work during the day and I made good use of the paddle board to get a little exercise.

Tipsico Lake getaway

We just completed a two week stay at the Birmingham Bungalow. Everything was terrific and "as advertised". The home itself had a nice, open floor plan and very large kitchen and living space. That, plus the huge deck, provided beautiful views of the lake. There was both a new gas grill and charcoal grill that we made good use of, along with the well appointed kitchen. The lake itself was great to look at and we fished several times, while also making use of the paddle boards.Overall a very nice place to stay, with an "up north" feel, but close to many amenities. Highly recommended.

Wonderful lakeside retreat!

My daughter and I stayed at the Birmingham Bungalow for a week in mid-June. We wanted to have lake access during a visit to the Holly & Oxford, Mi areas. The cottage was beautiful - interior was so clean and beautifully remodeled. It had a very functional and extremely well-stocked kitchen so we were able to cook quite a few meals, store leftovers, and even host a friend for dinner. The views of Lake Tipsico are outstanding! Lake access was super easy with the dock and provided kayak and stand-up paddles. My 12-yo daughter was in the water every sunny day during our stay and the lake is not super busy, so it was safe for her to explore by kayak. I’d go out on a stand up paddle so she could use it as a base to swim from, too.The hostess, Lisa, has thought of everything one could need during one’s stay. The neighbors are also very friendly, and access to Hwy 23, M-59, Holly are just about 10 minutes in any direction. It was extremely peaceful there. I’d love to go back with my entire family and bring a boat to explore the lake even more.I highly recommend this rental to anyone who loves a great lakeside getaway and also likes to cook!

My husband and I grew up in Michigan, near our Bungalow. We moved in 2011 to FL for work. As we traveled back and forth to MI, we kept saying how we wanted a cottage to have so we can. Ring the kids back for the summers to enjoy. Fast forward now kids are growing up and keep us so busy that we can’t spend the summers there any longer.

Why they chose this property

We always use to come out to Tipsico lake fishing and to bring our kids tubing. This lake is so peaceful and quiet that you won’t have to worry about a busy lake that you won’t enjoy.

Our bungalow sits at the perfect spot on the lake that you can see most of it.
