We loved the villa. Daytimes were hot so we laid low by the pool and did villages in evening. Great location and facilities.

Stunning, peaceful location, lovely views, weather was perfect, with a very welcome breeze up in the mountains. Property was large and the outside spaces meant that despite being in a large party we were all able to get some private time when needed

Excellent place to stay

We are a 3 generation family of 14 who stayed here, and found it excellent. The actual property is comfortable, clean, well equipped, good bedrooms and bathrooms, good mix of all being together but bedroom layout gives family and children their own space. Pool wonderful, and we enjoyed the terrace with the bar. It's in a great location, with a fantastic view down to the sea, and near the hilltop towns like Locorotondo and Ostuni. 25 minutes to beaches. The property manager Enza was always very helpful and responsive. We had a meal cooked by her and her mum, delicious and recommended.

Fantastic property in a perfect location.

Beautiful, large house in a perfect setting. So much to do nearby. Very nice host. Incredibly friendly property manager. We made mozzarella and orechiette at the house....amazing. Grazie mille!

Just as described. Superb pool area and facilies. Not far from many activities for children and interesting sites for adults. Top terrace with tuc-tuc bar and lounge area for evenings ..a real bonus. Only needs a pizza oven.!

Fabulous stay at Villa Silvana

We had a wonderful week at Villa Silvana. We were 3 families with 4 children 2years and under. Prior to our stay all questions were answered promptly. And during our stay Enza looked after all our needs with great care. And she delivered delicious cannelloni and world best tiramisu.

Scenic and well managed

This was a very memorable experience for us as a family. We found the owners very helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. There was a zoo safari close to the property which we all enjoyed as a family. A good pizzaria close by and in walking distance. Interesting garden and relaxing pool area.

beautiful puglia

i had the most wonderful time staying at villa silvana, first of all the hosts sue and michael are incredibly welcoming and could not do enough for me during my stay, giving me detailed information on the surounding area including what is a must see. the villa itself is spectacular and has the most amazing views and a real feel of serenity and total relaxation. the pool is a welcome relief as almost all villas do not have one in italy. i loved my stay there and am planning to return. and i havent even mentioned the food!

Our stay at villa

Beautiful area- really need to have car- we did not- 1 towel per person - they charge extra for more towels - there are 4 cats hanging there and they are always trying to get in villa and want food- the weather turned cold - we were freezing for 2 days and they wanted to charge us 50 euros a day for heat- no bar soap or shampoo- it is not safe to drink water -drinking water should be provided-

BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!

Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday. My partner and I so needed a break and we were ecstatic when we found your appartment. Not only were the views breathtaking, the weather amazing but the appartment was gorgeous, peaceful and I could tell looked after and loved. I also loved having an almost private pool and being able to sit up on the terrace with a bottle of wine and looking out at the mountains and view of the sea It was really just what we needed! I will definately be back and have already told my friends about you. Thank you so much again!!!

Perfetta vacanza in famiglia

Villa molto bella, con una magnifica piscina. Vista panoramica, provvista di tutto quello che serviva per un gruppo di ben 12 persone. Ottima comunicazione con la proprietaria, Enza, la manager, molto gentile e disponibile, cena ottima cucinata dall’eccellente chef Miriana! (Consiglio vivamente! ). A breve distanza da Polignano, Alberobello, il mare stupendo di Polignano e Monopoli-Capitolo… eccellente!

Ideal Villa

Ideal for a family group of 14. Eight adults and six children aged 2 to 16. Plenty of room for us all, table outside with ample seating. Although the pool is not heated it was an ideal temperature.

A wonderful place for a family get together, with family coming from different sides of the world. The pool was wonderful and many happy times were enjoyed there by all the 7 children. Wonderful top terrace for evening drinks with wonderful views. Enza was very good and sorted out any queries

Perfect stay for a Family Reunion

We recently stayed at Villa Silvana for a family reunion with 13 family members from all over the US. We had a great time. The villa is beautiful with plenty of room for everyone. It’s so large we were even able to host a BBQ with all 13 of us plus another 10 or so family members who live in the area. The Puglia is a beautiful part of Italy and there’s so much to do all with very easy day trips of the villa. I’d recommend this house to anyone.

GREAT FAMILY HOLIDAY

we travel to Italy a lot for our holidays and every year all four brothers get together to organize a large family holiday. Of all the villas we've stayed in, This is the best. We felt so at home and so comfortable and there was a lot of us. we had the chef on more than one occasion, the food quality for the price is unbelievable and delicious. there's tons to do in the area and as we were such a big group the owners went out of their way every day to help us book excursions and restaurants. the pool was huge and such fun and the views are mind blowing. loved It.

The perfect villa for a group of families

We spent a week in the luxurious Villa Silvana with 2 other families; there were 6 adults and 8 children in total and we all had a fantastic time without exception. Michael and Sue were very helpful and it is obvious that they have put an awful lot of thought and hard work into making the villa as well equipped and comfortable as possible. The pool area was particularly well used and the views out to the coast are amazing. We had the chef come in and cook for us twice which was well worth doing - she also made lasagna for all the kids on those nights and showed us how to make orecchiette pasta - everything was delicious. I would highly recommend the property to anyone that wants to spend some time exploring Puglia whilst enjoying some luxury accommodation and we will almost certainly return. Thanks Michael and Sue for all your help in ensuring our stay was a memorable one.

Fantastic property for lifelong memories!

Villa Silvana is a very well maintained and stocked property. We spent 2 weeks as a group of 4 families in the house and we had a great time. The location is perfect to explore Puglia, the house is very pleasant, the pool is wonderful and the view is breathtaking. Sue and Michael are great hosts, always there when you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. We hope to be back soon!

Schreenanfest at Villa Silvana

Our family consisting of fifteen members with ages ranging from thirteen to seventy have just returned from a memorable holiday in Villa Silvana. Susanne and Michael always answered our questions and requests promptly. These requests included organising taxis and asking Lina to cook us a welcoming meal and some typical Puglian meals during the week. ( We recommend Lina's delicious meals.) We also recommend shopping at Maria's and Fedrico's Mini-Mart. They could supply most of our needs. The spacious , sparkling clean pool was very popular because the weather was very hot. The table on the terrace was perfect for our meals. We would gather around , eat and share our experiences.

Simply beautiful

Well what can I say, villa silvanna defiantly has the wow factor, everything from the stunning views to the little extras, such as a beautiful welcome hamper, wide selection of DVDs and CDs, where all perfect, we really where made to feel very special. the surrounding areas are just a lovely, we travelled with young children and as anyone with children will understand you worry about everything and anything but their was plenty to entertain them all, both in the villa and in the near by villages. I would really recommend the splash park to anyone looking for a day out, very clean tidy and kid friendly 5star!!! The villa owners where great very friendly and helpful assisting with anything and everything, We will be returning again next year!

Perfect Home-Base for Exploring Puglia Region

Beautiful property perched high on a hillside affording unimpeded views of the Fasano area and Adriatic Sea. Fully appointed with a spacious well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and bedrooms, gorgeous pool, and numerous outdoor areas (terraces and porches) with tables, chairs, and lounges. The property is immaculately maintained and built for comfort and relaxation -- and is convenient to so many villages and beaches (we took daytrips to Matera and the Basilicata region and shorter trips to Alberobello and the village and beaches of Savelletri and still made it back to enjoy wine and dinner at dusk). Thoroughly worth it, and highly recommended.

Why Villa Silvana?
By staying in the accommodation, you help us sustain the environment by creating employment to enable people to remain in our local village and continue with their traditional way of life, which is getting more and more unusual as modern life begins to encroach on southern Italy.
During your stay you will experience traditional village life, plus Puglian cooking, the possibility of enjoying our Local festa's and Sagra's, we will be on hand to host you in the true Puglian style. Our property manager is a local girl as are our chef our housekeeping staff and our tour guide
Also you will notice where attention to detail is evident in every single part of the residence. Huge passion and effort has been put into this beautiful house. We have just had a complete refurb to include new build rooms all done by our local builder to our exacting standards. We now have 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms - 5 ensuite so much more luxurious but still a comfortable home rather than off putting
This is not just a business or a holiday home, you can see and feel the passion and the romance of this stunning country and beautiful region of Puglia, when you come to stay.

Gloriously spacious and immaculately presented, this wonderful house is ideally located in the heart of Puglia, Located just a few kilometres from the historics villages of Fasano, Cisternino and Locorotondo, offering a wealth of culture, history and traditional Italian hospitality at your fingertips.
Villa Silvana truly has a prime position , literally in the centre of all the interesting tourist attractions provide so much to enjoy, art lovers can discover original art work both in the villa and around the neighbouring towns and villages, gourmets can taste fresh puglian food bought to their tables by the local chef or in the surrounding baroque and antique centre’s and sip excellent fresh home made wine on their private verandas looking out to sea or taste other delicious Puglia wines in the local “enoteca’s”, sportsmen can enjoy activities such as cycling in the hills, fishing and golf and all can relax in our beautiful Villa.
We can offer a variety of extras from shopping to cooking - our chef Lina is superb- to trips out to escorted tours to restaurant bookings and bikes!
New this year by popular feedback is a 'take away' menu (as well as the usual chef services) by our chef who will deliver fresh cooked meals to you to reheat.
Plus we learnt that some of our multi-generational guests would have liked to peel away and have a bit of culture away from the grandchildren so this year we have 'tours by Pina' again pretty much made to measure. She will drive you, educate you, feed you and take you to various aunties to watch and buy pasta/focaccia. Lots of packages available or made to measure.
