Nice Stay

Communication with the host was excellent. His place was clean, bright, and very well equipped! The location makes it easy to get around the greater Hartford area. Our stay was very good!

Brother funeral and burial.

Excellent location. Very clean and spacious. Lots of parking space. Good communication with the host. We have had a wonderful stay! This apartment is simply perfect! The moment we walked in we felt at home. The furniture and decoration is very beautiful and comfortable.

Not exactly what advertised.

The property is the attic of a 3 floor house converted. The stair are steep and very narrow - if you have knee issues or just going upstairs this is not the place.The inside is spacious but only 1 bathroom. The area is not the best.The address was not provided by the host until the day prior of arrival leaving no time to review the area and get a refund.

First look, the property was clean. It was missing alot of things like sheets on the beds, regular (not solo cups) cups to drink from, a blanket thicker than a piece of paper, a shower curtain liner to protect the constant wet shower curtain, a vaccuum or mop to clean the very dirty floor. It was fine for what we needed, location to an event. The area was not very safe looking and there was a constant smell of weed when you entered and exited the building. The dryer lint collection looked like it had not been cleaned in years which is a fire hazard. The microwave sounded like it was going to explode when used. Curtains would be nice in the bedrooms. It was fine, but I would look for another place to stay if we go back to that area.

I rented an apartment from Abe for three days. We were attending my daughter’s college graduation from Wesleyan We received arrival instructions the night before. The instructions stated that the entrance was in the back and there was a three story walk up. None of this was mentioned in the post. When my husband and I arrived at the location we were shocked, The neighborhood was sketchy, the grass was not cut the place was not up to VRBO standards. So we left right away.Our interactions with Abe have been disappointing. We were willing to pay half the rental amount but he was unwilling to meet me in the middle. Even though the rental says cancel at any time. He does not honor those terms. I would not rent from Abe.
