WHAT A VIEW!
We just returned home from 5 nights at this wonderful apartment. It is bright, tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, spacious and very well equipped. The apartment contains all that you would need. The appliances are practically new and there are lots of cooking utensils, cups, plates, dish towels, etc. Similarly the bathrooms are well stocked with towels, hand towels, face cloths, etc. The apartment is located on the upper floor of a beautiful house on a quiet, residential street on a hill overlooking the St. Lawrence River. The views of the St. Lawrence and Quebec City are amazing. We were a bit hesitant to stay in Levis however the ferry runs regularly from early in the morning to late at night and is very inexpensive. We crossed over to Quebec City each day and enjoyed the ride. Others have mentioned the stairs to get down to the ferry. They are substantial however you can also drive to the ferry and park below. There is some unpaid parking as well as paid lots by the ferry. Rachel was a great host. She provided us with a welcome package which included maps to the grocery store, ferry and restaurants as well as her contact numbers. There also numerous brochures and maps in the apartment. Rachel dropped by to say hello and see how our visit was going. We would definitely stay here again.
The best view to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks. The apartment was just as described. Very clean. Good location. Rachel was very nice.
Très propre, très agréable, merci pour tout.
Nous reviendrons c’est certain.
Lovely apartment, fantastic view of Quebec City
My wife and I and another couple spent four nights at this lovely apartment across the St. Lawrence River from Old Quebec. The second-floor apartment has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a good-size kitchen which also houses the washer/dryer, a dining room and living room with incredible views of Old Quebec. The apartment was neat and spotless. We really appreciated the little things that made the apartment so comfortable: boxes of Kleenex in the bedrooms, lots of different kinds of spices in the kitchen, laundry soap, lots of maps and brochures, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Décor throughout is lovely. There is on-street parking. Access to the ferry over to Quebec is a short-drive down the hill or, do as we did throughout our stay, walk down (and also up!) the 200 steps a short distance away. The view across the river to Old Quebec is absolutely spectacular, day and night! Working with Rachel, the owner, was easy throughout, from making reservations, to welcoming us, to saying goodbye. We had a wonderful visit. I should mention that the Wi-Fi network and password for the apartment are noted on a small wooden plaque in the living room where the brochures of the area are located. When we return to Old Quebec, we definitely will stay at Rachel's.
Fantastic place to say
We stayed in early October. This place is ideally situated if you want to visit Québec City, or explore the surrounding areas. The house was very clean, we had everything we needed (and more). The view from this house is spectacular. We sat at the windows in awe....during the day, the port is always bustling, and the lights at night are beautiful. Québec City is a 5 minute ferry ride away. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Many little touches make the house welcoming and "homey".
I have stayed at many rentals over the last 10+ years but never one as comfortable or beautifully appointed as this one. Although we didn’t get a chance to meet Rachel, she arranged everything perfectly for us. Wish we could have stayed longer. The view is unbelievable. Can’t wait to return.
