There is 24-hour excellent and very accommodating service staff and has easy access to downtown Steamboat.

The city of Steamboat offers free ski lift passes on Sundays to Howelson Hill! It is the oldest continuously operated ski area in the USA and is basically in downtown Steamboat. There is another, larger ski area just at the edge of town and offers even more slopes for your ultimate skiing adventure, but there is no free day at it. At either location, Steamboat prides itself with champagne powder. Their snow has water content at 6% compared to 15% at other ski towns. This makes for lighter snow and for some of the best skiing snow in the USA. Our 2023 trip was the first ski trip for several members of our family and the powder made our skiing experiences much easier and successful.

My family of 6 stayed at this resort during Christmas 2023 and we absolutely loved it! All of my children are high schoolers and older, and space was abundant. There were daily activities for younger children as well as others for older kids and even activities for adults. There is also climate-controlled garage parking for first come/first serve. We never had an issue obtaining a garage parking spot during our stay. Steamboat is a beautiful, quaint town with an incredibly gorgeous mountainous backdrop. This Wyndham property is extremely clean and accommodating and will help make your trip a wonderful and joyous one.
