The condo was beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. The complex was quiet and I appreciated the added security of the gated complex. Prime location in downtown Lafayette. Within walking distance to great food and entertainment. Overall, we had a great stay.
The property was absolutely beautiful. It was in the middle of downtown lafayette. Nice scenery. It was perfect for sitting outside in the evening. Vivian, the property owner was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be renting this property on our next visit to lafayette.
The pictures were COMPLETELY misleading. I assumed it was a fair price because that’s what I pay for my usual rentals. I’m not sure what was going on in town this weekend but all of the nearby hotels were booked. This place was so bad that I was willing to completely forfeit the 340 I spent. I wish I would’ve took more pictures. The place is MUCH SMALLER than what it seems. The bedroom is literally right next to the door. The pillows are extremely worn out. There’s no tv in the bedroom . The couch has some type of dusty towel cover on it (not pictured in listing photos). There’s a tv in there but the couch literally sinks in so badly that it’s too uncomfortable to sit down. The kitchen was so pitiful. It looks as if someone was currently living there in filth. The seasonings are literally falling out of the cabinet as I open it. (I never planned on using them but I like to see how STRs are organized) The fridge was filthy — basically, it made me feel as if the host or whoever took this tiny run down place, saw no need to add value, slapped on the basics and called it a STR. The bathroom, GOODNESS. Someone’s hair was all over the towels and inside the shower. They seriously could’ve done better with the presentation of the soap/shampoo. The rug was so dirty and full of trash— it only takes a second to vacuum. I truly did not want to write a negative review but this is pitiful. Basically, if I had to book last minute again and this was the only option, I’d just cancel mytrip
