Uptown Bungalow

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores, parks and minutes from downtown.
The space
The house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, three of the bedrooms have a full bathroom attached to them, and there is a half bath located off the dining room. The space is decorated with artwork that displays abstract nudity, most are picture throughout the images but I have had a couple guests be surprised so I mention it in the listing now!
The backyard is fenced in and has a little playground/ swing set for children. The house has a large front porch with seating and lights ( they need to be plugged in to be used).
Guest access
The entire house expect the basement. But basement can be used for shelter in the event of a tornado.
Other things to note
The space is decorated with artwork that displays abstract nudity, most are picture throughout the images but I have had a couple guests be surprised so I mention it in the listing now!

10/10 recommend this property. Absolutely lovely and Mary was wonderful. Her communication was excellent. She allowed is to check in early and we appreciated the availability of certain toiletries and kitchen items. Will absolutely stay again the next time we are in Wichita.

The house was perfect for our 3-day visit to Wichita. Each kid (16) had their own room and access to their own bathroom. The house has 3 showers - very convenient for getting ready. Centrally located, we could get anywhere in under 15 minutes. We watched season 2 of Wednesday as a family on the big TV in the livingroom. AC was awesome. Kitchen was well appointed, but we did go out for just about every meal.

Mary responded very quickly to any issues or questions. The house was very clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed in quite a few VRBOs and this is the cleanest I’ve had so far. Would recommend.

Very nice home, very eclectic and nicely stocked with everything needed, except we couldn’t find an iron.Questioned the sheets in two of the beds, found crumbs and hair in one of them, and the other had gravel.The host was very punctual at responding to a question I had sent.The neighborhood seemed to be very nice. We were only there for a short time, so really didn’t get to see much of it. Definitely will stay there again if we come back to Wichita.

This was a great property for us. Large space, multiple bedrooms, accommodated our family as we traveled to Wichita for a wedding. The bed was comfortable. Location was excellent, we were close to uptown, and not too far from the old town market, we were close to several venues. The host was helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay again if we were coming to the Wichita area. We enjoyed using the espresso maker as well.

Comfortable and lots of room

We booked this place for the weekend to attend a graduation. With 3 kids 17yrs and older, a place with lots of rooms and bathrooms is essential! The art is a little strange for a VRBO but since our kids are almost all adults they had a good laugh about it! The kitchen has everything you want. Air fryer, keriug, blender, etc. I would have given 5 stars but it really needs professionally cleaned and the sheets in one of the rooms were obviously not clean... I stripped the bed, treated the stains.... and threw them in the washer. Luckily there were spare linens in a closet, because we arrived close to bedtime. So that was nice. If they improve the cleanliness, I would totally recommend staying here!

perfect size and location

This property was exactly what my family needed for the weekend we visited Wichita for my niece's wedding. The location was very central to everywhere we needed to go, and there are lots of cute places to eat close by. The bedrooms were spacious, and three of them had en suite bathrooms. This was a great choice for us. Thanks for a great stay!

Great house in walkable location

We stay almost exclusively in rental homes when we travel and this house was great for our small family of three. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out in this historic, updated bungalow. Heating and a/c worked great (yes, the a/c was on when we arrived, but we had to switch over to heat!). The large living area had plenty of seating and the first bedroom could act as a sitting area as well, with a small couch. Main bedroom was large and attached bath adequate. There is also a half bath just off the living/dining area. The two additional bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs was my teen's domain. Dining room with large table and breakfast nook in the kitchen. Foam beds were very comfy, as were the pillows. Plenty of towels, although it seemed strange there were no hand towels, only bath towels. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need to cook and eat. There was a grill of some sort out back, but it didn't look like it had been used in ages. The neighborhood is old, with homes built over 100 years ago and large trees. Overall well kept and peaceful. Plenty of fantastic restaurant options in the "Uptown" area only a short walk away, which we did for dinner both nights we were there. Easy access to I-135 and downtown. A couple of minor issues that we reported when we departed - nothing that required immediate assistance. We wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here again!
