This is a nice home with a great location. Our party of 4 enjoyed the stay for the most part, but there were a few things that would keep us from staying here again.Pros: -very pretty home with plenty of space for large groups-plenty of beach time amenities (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc)-lots of board games and TVs for entertainment Cons:-the discount they advertised for golf cart rental was inaccurate and the host made ZERO effort to rectify the situation, which cost us about 250 more than planned for-the A/C couldn't get the main floors to be cooler than about 75 during the day...the top floor was even worse, even at night (average high was 78 during our stay)-the upstairs bed was extremely uncomfortable, lumpy, and felt old with sunken spotsOverall, not a terrible place for a vacation if you're not planning to be at the house a lot and are looking for a slightly cheaper option that's got a pool and is close to the beach. The host updated the golf cart discount after our stay, so hopefully there will be no surprises for future guests in that regard.

The property itself was great for a large group of families, and the location was perfect—very close to the beach and exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately, the management company significantly impacted our experience.The kitchen had plenty of dishes and appliances, but almost nothing to clean or cook with: no cleaning spray, only two dishwasher tabs for a four-day stay with three families, and only enough coffee filters for three mornings. There wasn’t even salt in the kitchen, so plan to bring or buy absolutely everything you’ll need. If the expectation is to keep the house nice, adequate cleaning supplies seem like a basic courtesy.Each bathroom only had a starter roll of toilet paper with no extras, which didn’t last our stay. We also ran out of trash bags and were told to go buy more, only to later find extras hidden at the bottom of a far-away bin—something management could have easily told us.Most disappointing, I left several of my son’s clothing items in a drawer and contacted management immediately, offering to pay for shipping. After multiple follow-ups, I was told the cleaners found nothing, despite my detailed description of exactly where the clothes were left.Nice house, great location, but we won’t return to this property or others managed by FUNVacay.

Santa Rosa Beach

What a great place. Sleeps 16, we had 16 and we all had places to sleep. The pool was perfect size for our group. The little ones lived it and the big people could patrol the whole pool, very private. The beach was easily walkable. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed. Very convenient, very comfortable. We will be back!

Perfect stay!

We could not have had a better vacation. The home was perfect. There are quite a few stairs but we were happy to get the exercise and a bit of separation was nice. The home had everything we needed. Plenty of bath towels are provided. The home has bicycles, beach umbrellas, beach chairs and wagons. You can be on the sand in about a minute and a half. The views were amazing. Five Star communicated with us several times to be sure we had no questions ahead of time and during our stay. We will definitely rent with them again.

Great location

We had a great time at this house! It easily fit our three families with six kids. The kids' rooms were perfect with very sturdy queen bunk beds in each room. The moms loved escaping to the roof deck for coffee or wine depending on the time of day... beautiful views! It would have been nice to have an extra tall chair for the table, but we made it work. ;) All the dads had coffee on the porch off the living room/kitchen area and it was perfect. The kids enjoyed the heated pool, and it had ample seating and tables around for us to watch the kids and enjoy snacks. The pool area also has a TV... proved to perfect for watching the Master's golf tournament while the kids were swimming. The house was only a few minute walk to the beach, which made running back and forth with kids not only feasible but easy! My only complaint would be that we ran out of toilet paper early the morning we were leaving, as only a starter stock was supplied and we were only there 2.5 days. Overall a great stay and we would definitely go back!
