We were treated as royalty. The hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is a feast for the eyes and the stomach. Our room, the jewel was a Moroccan fantasy. We spent many hours enjoying the views on the terrace. We were collected from and returned to the airport. Our every wish was granted with a smile. A great experience.

Fantastic Little Haven, Fantastic Service 5*****
Words cannot describe the haven that was hidden away within the little ally's and behind the door of this Riad in the heart of Marrakech.
Jamila & Jalil where so fantastic, with every single little detail seen to, they really do know how to look after you in this wonderful Riad. Even the lady that cleans the room had ensured her little touch was the personal touch and done so from the heart.
From the time you step into your little moroccan escape to the time you leave, its truly an experience you will never ever forget. My family and I will always remember this holiday as one of our best.
A must for anyone of any age. Thank you to Helen & Ian for your patience throughout the booking. Perfect customer service.
Will definitely visit again.

The best place to stay in Marrakech
Dar Rocmarra is even more perfect then what is you see in the pictures. It's some kind of a Oasis en the middle of the city. The location is the best and its possible to go walking to the most importants points of Marrakesh, and be the near and far away of the Medina's mess at the same time.
The house is always clean and well maintained. The staff is great, very helpful, really kind and they prepare the greatest breakfasts ever.
We are a group of ten and everything was perfect to everyone. The roof was the best part of the holidays!
The Medina, Djama El Fna Square and Mellah are some of the places that everyone has to be lost on them.
Jamilla organize to us a trip to Essaouira and its very nice to escape a little from the hot in Marrakesh.
We surely recommend Dar Rocmarra to our friends and family!

Fantastic place for relaxation
My husband and I are both doctors in training and thus get little time for rest and relaxation. We decided to take a long weekend in Marrakech to escape the rain and drizzle of London. Dar Rocmarra is an amazing riad with no detail overlooked. The rooms are clean and well-decorated (the pictures are accurate!). I would suggest getting the suite...large sitting area and king-sized bed, but all of the rooms are really nice. I highly recommend breakfast on the roof-top terrace and have Jamila make you dinner at least one night. The only sounds you will hear are the intermittent distant calls to prayer--I found them to be relaxing and meditative. The souk is within easy walking distance (coming from a 29 week pregnant woman!), and I also recommend the couples massage at Isis (Jamila will make the reservation for you). And I also recommend Le Foundouk restaurant (eat on the roof-top) ....again, Jamila will call to make the reservation for you. I wish we had had the time to stay for a week. We hopefully will be back soon.

Nicest discovery in Morocco
When you are first led down the tiny winding lanes of the ancient Marrakech Medina you worry a bit about the riad that may await you. It looked great in the website but was that just great photography ?.
We were simply enchanted with dar Rocmarra. The building is so beautiful when you step into the central courtyard with real 5 star decor and design. Fresh rose petals waited on our bed in a lovely room.
But the heart of our delight was with the beautiful family that truly looked after us there. Cooking was the best home cooking I've eaten. Service was warm dignified and genuinely caring.
It was a wonderful experience and a great joy. Very good value for money too !.
Thank you again.

An oasis of tranquility
Staying at Dar Rocmarra was a wonderful experience. The rooms are arranged around a charming courtyard with an olive tree and trickling wall fountain. I stayed in the Bijou room. It was clean and warm (I visited in December) and beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail. I loved the Moroccan lamps, the pretty bathroom and the tiled floors. The bed had luxurious sheets and was very comfortable.
On our arrival we were offered mint tea and delicious Moroccan cookies. Dinner could be ordered in advance and the food was superb. A good breakfast is served in the courtyard or on the roof terrace. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.
The riad's location in the heart of the Medina is excellent and it is an easy walk to the souks and the Djamaa El Fna. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return in the very near future.
