A comfortable modern property with superb lake and mountain views

This property is a modern property with glass picture walls looking out over lake and mountains. You could spend all your holiday sitting on the terraces just enjoying the most amazing views. But if you can tear yourselves away the property is comfortable and well equipped and provides a superb base to explore the Savoie region. Highlights were Annecy, Aix les Bains and Lyon.

Good, but could easily be great

Lovely house with stunning views. Easy walk to lake and very pleasant small town. Well stocked house. We enjoyed it but it is let down by the fact it needs a really good clean, tidy and fix up. Lots of food left in house from multiple previous occupants, some rotting. White hairs on most beds on arrival (possibly pet hair). Bare wires hanging, some lights not working and missing wooden panels down in places.Outside building materials lying around in multiple places and garden renovation half completed and looks abandoned. Balconies are great but loose boarding needs fixing and one unuseable as a result. A good tidy up would do this place wonders.

fantastish uitzicht

de vakantiewoning is zeer ruim met fantastish uitzicht toch wel wat opmerkingen ramen waren zeer vuil, tafel op terras was kapot, garage en andere opbergruimtes stonden vol materiaal,natte handdoek gevonden in 1 van de lades slaapkamer. wij vonden het en prima huis maar als dit was opgekuist nog veel beter.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette belle maison à la vue à couper le souffle ! Une route à traverser pour rejoindre le magnifique lac du Bourget ainsi que le départ de plusieurs randonnées. Bruce le propriétaire a été trÚs réactif à chacune de nos demandes. Un Grand merci à lui.

Magnifique villa avec une vue superbe sur le lac Villa trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e avec des produits haut de gamme TrĂšs bien situĂ©e , commerces Ă  proximitĂ© Petit bĂ©mol malgrĂ© tout sur le mĂ©nage essentiellement le sol , et le frigo le reste Ă©tait nickel Dommage Ă©galement qu’il n’y ait pas de stores dans le salon pour les couchages qui se situent dedans PropriĂ©taire joignable facilement et trĂšs rĂ©actif , merci Ă  lui

Een fantastisch modern huis met een spectaculair uitzicht. Ligging is geweldig. Er was door ons wat onvrede over de schoonmaak maar dat heeft de eigenaar netjes opgelost. Het contact met de eigenaar is heel goed.

Modern eingerichtet und funktional eingerichtet, mit allem was man fĂŒr einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Einzig die Hauptstrasse unterhalb des Hauses ist tagĂŒber etwas laut. Die Lage des Hauses ist prĂ€denstiniert fĂŒr AusflĂŒge rund um den Lac-de-Bourget sowie den Lac-d'Annecy. Das klare Wasser des Sees lĂ€dt an vielen Stellen zum Baden ein.

Une vue fabuleuse !

Maison trĂšs agrĂ©able, lumineuse et de qualitĂ©, avec une vue exceptionnelle dans toutes les piĂšces. C’est une maison impressionnante et vertigineuse. On s’habitue trĂšs bien Ă  cette hauteur plongeante sur le lac. La literie est trĂšs confortable et la maison est bien Ă©quipĂ©e en ce qui concerne l’électromĂ©nager. Petites remarques : manque un peu de vaisselle notamment des verres pour l’eau, jus de fruits, un plateau et des assiettes supplĂ©mentaires. PrĂ©voir masque de nuit pour les personnes sensibles Ă  la lumiĂšre dans les chambres car l’occultation des volets Ă  lamelles n’est pas totale. PrĂ©voir Ă©galement des bouchons d’oreilles pour les personnes ayant un sommeil lĂ©ger car les bruits de la route ont tendance Ă  monter un peu vers les chambres. Les personnes Ă  mobilitĂ© rĂ©duite doivent savoir qu’il y a de nombreux escaliers, ça peut ĂȘtre problĂ©matique. La maison Ă©tait globalement trĂšs propre Ă  l’exception du frigo, congĂ©lateur, four et barbecue). Le propriĂ©taire est trĂšs sympa et arrangeant. Il nous a permis de prolonger d’une nuit notre sĂ©jour avec un prix dĂ©gressif. Nous sommes donc restĂ©s 3 nuits au lieu de deux prĂ©vues Ă  l’origine. Il y a un petit chemin qui permet de descendre au port. L’emplacement est idĂ©al. Tout est Ă  proximitĂ© : loisirs, commerces etc... Je vous conseille la boucherie traiteur Cottaz au Bourget du lac qui est trĂšs sĂ©rieuse et propose des produits de qualitĂ©. Sinon, il y a un drive Leclerc tout prĂšs si besoin. Nous avions prĂ©vu un drive et une commande chez Monsieur Cottaz et nous n’avons eu qu’à rĂ©cupĂ©rer nos courses. Cela nous a permis de profiter de notre week-end au maximum. C’est une rĂ©gion formidable qui regorge de beaux paysages et d’activitĂ©s en tous genres. Je vous conseille cette belle location si vous aimez en prendre plein la vue.

A great stay

Nous sommes restĂ©s 2 nuits et 3 jours dans cette magnifique maison, moderne. La maison est grande et dispose de 3 grandes chambres, qui offrent une trĂšs belle vue sur le Lac du Bourget avec une terrasse pour l'une des chambres, et de 2 salles de bain. Elle est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, avec une trĂšs grande cuisine et salle Ă  manger (intĂ©rieure et extĂ©rieure). Bruce, mĂȘme n'Ă©tant pas prĂ©sent sur place au moment de notre passage, a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs rĂ©actif et a rĂ©pondu Ă  toutes nos demandes afin de faciliter au mieux notre sĂ©jour. Malheureusement, Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, le mĂ©nage n'avait pas Ă©tĂ© fait correctement. Il y avait des toiles d'araignĂ©s et des araignĂ©s un peu partout dans la maison. Autrement, le sĂ©jour fut agrĂ©able et nous pensons probablement revenir si nous passons de nouveau des vacances au Lac du Bourget.

Amazing modern house with spectacular views of the lake and mountains!!!

My wife, two young children, and I stayed here with two other families--each with a young child. All of us live in the U.S. The house is extremely comfortable, has great amenities, and features fantastic views of the Lac du Bourget from virtually every room. The three bedrooms were quite enough to support all three families. We used a website to pickup child gear: strollers, travel cribs, and safety gates for the stairs. The house is located a short walk from a beach park featuring swimming, sprinklers, and more. There are a host of restaurants close to the park. The essentials--grocery stores & bakeries--are less than a 5 minute drive away. Only slightly further is Aix-les-Bains and more beach parks on the east side of the lake. Bruce is a fantastic host. He was very quick to respond to any questions I had. He also helped sort out an issue I was having with the website. The house is lovely and designed brilliantly. We spent a number of hours on each deck enjoying wine, company, and the view. We are actively working on a way to return in the not too distant future.
