Charming private apartment in the hearth of Venice, finely furnished, quiet and comfortable. Encased by canals and a private courtyard (magnificent Corte Zorzi) allowing access to the building, Astarte apart is absolutely quiet as it is sheltered by any possible hustle and bustle of tourists.

Anyway the area is not a massive touristic path, it is an hidden corner just behind Saint_Mark’s square.

Typical “battuto veneziano” floors, ceiling beams and Murano glass chandliers, within a magnificent canal view over a secondary canal where just gondolas are allowed to navigate, bring guests in a real and agreeable venetian atmosphere.

Astarte equipment allow guests to prepare any meal for an easy self-catering.

Great Location!

Venice was the first stop on our three weeks in Italy. We just arrived home last night! This apartment was in the perfect location for visiting Venice. It is near the sites, but down a quiet road and away from the hustle of shops and tourists. We loved having the canal view and watching the boats go by. Very comfortable space for three of us!

Fabulous Apartment

As a family with two teenagers (14 & 17), we wanted enough space and a good location. We got both. Fantastic location, plenty of room and a lovely clean space as well. Exactly as described and pictured. Communication and access was easy. We highly recommend this Venice paradise.

Nicely updated and great location!

This apartment was awesome! Starting with the canal view, you can spend the day watching gondolas and boats going by. The apartment is nicely updated and has everything that you would need for an extended stay. Matilda, the owner met us and showed us everything about the apartment as well as where to find the grocery store, excellent restaurants, and of course the best gelato store.

The two bedrooms are good sized. We had 4 people and had plenty of room. The apartment also has air conditioning so sleeping at night was comfortable and cool. The location is convenient to the Rialto water taxi stop so you don't have to drag luggage too far.

All-in-all, this is a great apartment in the hear to of Venice. It is convenient to everything!

A Perfect Stay!

What a wonderful way to end our vacation! This apartment was perfect in every way, with comfortable beds, excellent amenities friendly people, and and a stunning location. It is a special treat to open almost any window and watch the gondolas cruising slowly below.

Traveler Hint: Spend a euro and buy a DETAILED street map! Venice is a maze of tiny streets!

The location is perfect, mere seconds by foot from St Mark's Square and the water. It seems that every street has beautiful shops and wonderful restaurants every few meters!

Our apartment featured all modern amenities, all in perfect working order, except for the internet, which is NOT the apartment's fault. Our connection was fine, it is the service provider that is at fault!

A very comfortable stay, made even better by Matilda, the agent of the owner, who is a New Jersey ex-pat. Thanks, Matilda, you were super!

Really good

Really good full canal view accomodation. We found 100% what promised and much more. Easy deal, nice welcoming (Matilde, english mother tongue, exposed us everything about the apart and surroundings, suggesting us really nice restaurants for our special nights). The location is what best we could dream really few steps from Saint-Mark’s square, absolutely quiet corner. Perfect both for visiting and stay. The apart was cleaned quiet and comfortable, with spectacular canal view. Everything finely working. Outside a nice small square with a small theatre San Gallo (we attended a spectacle about “the great story and stories of Venice” in English. We all loved it, warmly suggested. A nice open air cafè is in the small square too, a Simly market is just few steps away. If u like fish and do not want a “standar & expensive touristic menu” we warmly suggest u Trattoria da Remigio, one of the last, oldest and less touristic Trattorie in Venice. Finally due to this accomodation and staff’s kindness we really enjoyed our stay in Venice. Definiteley recommended.

Unique accomodation

Family of 4 spent 5 nights after a cruise in this beautiful accomodation. Quick friendly deal with Andrea easy check-in meeting friendly Matilde at the Rialto’s waterbus stop: just few walking and we reached the apart. The location is just behind Sait-Mark’s square, incredibly forgotten hidden corner, perfect starting point for visiting but also perfect for a pleasant and quiet stay. We easily visited the whole town and enjoyed the

quiet surroundings as well (many small hidden restaurants and shops whose exploration was lovely).

The apart is an easy first floor (good when back visiting for our tired legs) and my two sons have been

pleasantly “shoked” by the stunning canal view it offers from the living and their bedroom’s window.

They spent the most part of their home time looking at gondolas navigating behind windows instead of watching TV or playing electronics (much appreciated by us, parents). We found a perfectly cleaned and well appointed apart, all working fine: we had good wi-fi, good AC, clothes washer and a really fully furnished kitchen. As in the heart of an historical ancient and touristic town (we already experienced it) we were prepared to accept an usual activity noise level around us: in fact we found few noises in the morning, even less during day, no noises by night. This is the reason why, within its position and view, I can easily brand this accomodation as unique.

Charming view on the nice canal behind its windows (Canale Orseolo) where just gondolas are allowded to navigate all day long (gondolas deposit and main departure area is 50 meters far).
