About the property

Condo, 2.5 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 7)

LOCATED IN THE MOST DESIRABLE LOCATION IN THE ASPENS: THE 'BERRYPATCH'.

Serenity envelops you as you take in the sweeping ranch and mountain views of the southern Teton Range from your private deck. Sage scented air mingles with the rushing sound of Fish Creek as you watch horses graze in the summer, or the occasional moose wander by in the winter.

Relax in this fully-equipped condo. Lazy summer evenings are spent barbequing on the deck, enjoying the moonlit mountains. Savor a hot toddy by the big stone fireplace on a winter evening as you watch the lights of the "cats" grooming the Jackson Hole Ski area for your next day's adventure.

A preferred end unit, this very well equipped condo features remodeled baths, vaulted ceilings, a cozy bed and reading nook overlooking Snake River Ranch, and designer touches throughout. It has free WIFI, High Def TV in living room with bluray player and FREE streaming Netflix movies, as well as TV's with DVD players in both bedrooms.

Located in The Aspens, we are a part of an exclusive community only five minutes from the Jackson Hole Ski Resort and ten minutes from the town of Jackson. Featured onsite: an athletic club with pool and Jacuzzi available for temporary membership fee, a market, two four-star restaurants, and the Arnold Palmer designed Teton Pines Golf Resort.

This condo is by far the best value you will find: compare our rates, cleaning fee, reasonable minimum stay requirements, and most importantly, the million dollar view. Other condos have views restricted by parking lots and other buildings. Not this one, it has DIRECT ranch, Fish Creek and mountain views. If other short term rental condos had this view, there would be photos displaying it.

This is not a stripped down agency run rental. We supply all paper goods: paper towels, bath tissue, Kleenex, air freshener, bath soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets. We even supply body lotion to protect you from the high altitude dry conditions. We are mindful of the restrictions you have to deal with while traveling by air. In the kitchen you'll find dishwasher detergent, liquid detergent, Ziplock bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, coffee filters and spices in the cabinets. The kitchen is well stocked, including a blender, crock pot and rice cooker, among other amenities. There are games and books provided, as well as a selection of DVD movies, in addition to the free Netflix streaming movies and videos. There is a stereo with a variety of music CD's and tapes. And, of course, free WIFI and domestic phone calls. But you'll be hard pressed to look away from the lovely mountain view!

* NO PETS ALLOWED*

Located only four miles from the south entrance to Grand Teton National Park, enjoy its endless river and mountain adventures, and adjoining Yellowstone National Park. There are dedicated, paved off road bike paths throughout the Jackson Hole Valley that pass right through our resort and connect you with Teton Village, the Town of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. Rental bikes are available throughout the Valley, and in the National Park.

About Ginger Gainer

I am a retired American Airlines International Flight Attendant. I worked in Grand Teton National Park during a college summer from the University of California, and it was a life changing experience. I've seen a lot of this world, but this is a special corner of paradise that stole my heart. It has called me back all my life.

Ginger Gainer purchased this condo in 1993

Why Ginger Gainer chose Jackson Hole Area

Fabulous view!

What makes this condo unique

Peaceful, quiet location close to the National Park, the ski area, and the town of Jackson, but away from crowds and traffic. The sound of Fish Creek, 30 yards behind the condo, with the open ranch and mountain views evokes serenity.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I want to thank you for all the information you sent us before our stay at your two bedroom condo a couple weeks ago. I can't thank you enough for the maps and restaurant descriptions and activity recommendations. All of it was tremendously helpful and made a big difference. We had a wonderful time for the 5 days and 6 nights we were there and a lot of that was because of the helpful hints we had ahead of time! We'd like to go back someday, and do whatever we missed this time, so you may hear from us again...

Great location, beautiful view, and plenty of space!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house, the location and the beautiful view. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us. Ginger was great to work with and so accommodating when I left the check-in map and information at home.

Great spot conveniently located in between Teton village and Jackson.

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay at Ginger's place. Cabin has a lot of character with a great view of Fish Creek and the mountains out the back door. If you're skiing, we love the location right in-between Jackson Hole Resort and the town. The wood burning fireplace is essential. If your a family that doesn't mind getting cozy like us, it sleeps six easily. Would love to come back next time we are in Jackson!

Owner's Response: Griffin, Thanks so much, and we'd be delighted to have you come back to our special little slice of heaven. It's interesting that you, like several others, have referred to our condo as a "cabin". It has also been described as feeling like a treehouse, because of the view and wide open spaces. I'm glad that's the sensation it gives people: quiet, cozy and integral to the nature, vistas and wildlife around it. We appreciate your review!

Perfect Jackson getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Ginger's condo was absolutely perfect for our five day stay in the Jackson area over Thanksgiving. The views are spectacular, the fireplace is so cozy, and the house was equipped with everything we needed to cook and play games and enjoy our stay. The development that the condo is in is great for walking and has nearby amenities that are convenient. We would highly recommend staying here!

Owner's Response: Kelsey, Thanks for your great review. I'm so glad you enjoyed the condo, the view of our magnificent mountains, and the area...it is so very quiet and peaceful, in November especially! Hope you'll come visit again in the future.

Awesome view, great value

  • 5 of 5

This is a second floor condo that is on an end so you get a great view of a stream, field and mountains. We saw a bald eagle in a tree maybe 20 yards away. The condo is not luxury, but is very nice and clean and is stocked with a lot of supplies - even bear mace if you want to hike. We found that the location was great. It is not too far from Jackson or Teton Village. The kitchen is a bit narrow and dated, but well stocked and functional. There are plenty of beds and pull out sofas. My daughter loved the small nook by the window for sleeping (probably too short for an adult). The electric grill did cause the breaker to trip, but this is an easy fix. We were happy with this condo and think it was a good deal for the price. If you want luxury, this is not the right choice. If you want a nice condo with a great view for a reasonable price, this is a great choice.

Owner's Response: Bruce, Thank you so much for your very accurate and thorough review. Everybody in our resort chuckles about the design of the condos...very efficient. One can see, after a tour, that the original builder was indeed a ship designer (from Maine). Every condo in The Aspens has this long, narrow "Galley Kitchen", which indeed, works, and allows extra living room space. Same thing with the bay window bunk your daughter so enjoyed...a "bay window bed" enclosed on 3 sides with an awesome view of the mountains, the ranch and the stars at night. Actually, it is large enough for an adult...over 6 feet, 8 inches long. I sleep there frequently, and use it for peaceful reading as well. I love the serenity of it. I greatly appreciate your evaluation that this condo is an excellent value for the price. We don't see the need for a designer kitchen, and the resultant increase in the rate, as most people come to see the awesome view, the National parks, not the kitchen! Thank you!

Nature Wonderland

  • 5 of 5

This condo far exceeded our expectations! It was tastefully decorated to reflect the wildlife/natural surrounding area, very comfortable in every way. We saw moose, elk, deer, geese, ducks and a bald eagle from the condo balcony. The owner exceeded in providing everything to make our stay enjoyable. We truly felt at home. We were a party of two couples who travel together twice yearly. If we ever get back to this area, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review, and also the very helpful suggestions you gave me when we spoke by phone. I really appreciated you taking the time to contact me. I'm always open to input and ideas...that's how we keep the condo comfortable for our guests. But as you said, all our local wildlife and critters are the stars of the show in our little slice of heaven. Thanks for coming to share it!

What a treasure!

  • 5 of 5

My son and I just ended our 6 night stay at this fantastic condo and miss it already! I can't imagine a more homy, comfortable setting. And so close to everything! A short drive to downtown Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. And on top of that - it was like living in an episode of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom! We saw a cow moose and calf on our first night (driving across the little bridge to get to the Beary Patch condos). Then from the beautiful porch we saw them another night walking in the creek. And to top it all off, there was a herd of elk that came in almost every night between 6 and 7 pm. WOW!! A HUGE bull elk, 4 cows and 3 calves. They would come up in the creek, and then up onto the little grassy area right in front of the porch! UNBELIEVABLE and so cool!! And the bugling - WOW! Deer, too! The wonderful information packet that Ginger mailed prior to our arrival was terrific! We loved the turnouts and overlooks on the 42 mile loop - Schwabacher Landing is a MUST see! We also did an Eco Tour Yellowstone trip - fantastic way to see the highlights of the lower loop. Laurance Rockefeller Preserve is another "must do".

Thank you Ginger for sharing this wonderful gem!!
