As someone who does not camp, glamp, or RV as a part of their vacations, I was pleasantly surprised by this experience. I honestly had booked this glamping experience because other than the hostel it was the cheapest option when we were planning the Seward leg of our Alaskan adventure. The campsite has a great lay out and we loved seeing all the different tent/cabin styles. I had gotten nervous reading some of the earlier reviews on Google with people reporting the toilets weren’t good and the quarry was loud. I’m happy to report the toilets flushed, the shower water was hot, and the bed was very comfortable. We used the sauna which was very nice and saw others who had built fires/used the hot tubes. The night we stayed was chilly so we used the gas heater while we’re were awake but turned it off to sleep (because I’m narcotic). The heater heated up the tent really quickly and it was a very comfortable stay. If we were to ever return to Seward, I would stay here again!

Great other than no electricity
Will be wonderful when they work out a few bugs. No showers except one at the office. Porta potties since toilets not hooked up. Long line to use the one shower. They left their till with money on the counter and gave everyone the code to get into the office. We had no electricity since the device needed to provide it was not hooked up. Told maint would come by in the morning to hook up but they never arrived. We took coffee maker and charging block outside and hooked to the pole in the morning. Will be a great spot when they get everything running.
The tent/cabin was very nice. Not happy with showers as doors didn’t shut well and no place to put clothes that won’t get damp while showering. Contacted office and was told they couldn’t help us as they were not on site. If you like rustic and the weather is not rainy, it would be fine. Plus the walls are just canvas so sound travels through clearly so you can hear your neighbors and air traffic. So not too crazy about walking 100 yds to go to the bathroom at night but if that doesn’t bother you it would be OK. Would like to be able to clean up in room as there are no sink or way to wash up with water. And the water jugs by bathrooms were empty one morning. The most disturbing, was even though the book says all if you need something, we were told that no one was available at 7:00pm to accommodate us. Nice idea of a place to be available.
