Our fully remodeled modern apartment of the upstairs comes with two bedroom and one bathroom. Everything in the interior is recently renovated and furnished. Brand new kitchen & bathroom, dining and living room. Key-less entry on the front door and lock on each bedroom door, free wi-fi, washer/dryer. Cozy and breezy :) Short drive to LAX, beaches, SoFi Stadium. Walking distance to supermarket, shopping mall & restaurants. Great for family, couples, and business travelers.

GUEST ACCESS:
The entire unit is all yours! We use keyless entry with passcode, so no need of carrying a key. Our guests are welcome to check in anytime after 4pm. No need to let us know what time you’re coming in.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Torrance is a safe and family friendly city located in the heart of Southbay. Our apartment is located in a very convenient area where you can WALK to restaurants, groceries, and major shopping malls. (And of course, Starbucks :)

LOCATIONS:
* 1 min to I-405 freeway.
* Walking distance to South Bay Galleria and major shopping malls & restaurants on Hawthorne Blvd.
* 10 min drive to major beach cities (Manhattan Beach / Hermosa Beach / Redondo Beach).
* 10 min drive to Del Amo Fashion Center.
* 15 min drive to LAX.
* Short drive to Santa Monica, Venice, Hollywood, Downtown L.A as well as Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm and Universal Studios and other attractions in Los Angeles area.

PARKING:
If you have a car, park right in front of the house. There are no permits needed and usually we have plenty of parking available. Street cleaning is on Wednesday morning 9am - 12pm. Please move your car on the other side of street if you plan to sleep in on Tuesday.

**** IMPORTANT NOTES****
* We don't allow any type of parties / gatherings / events. The host lives onsite in a different unit, so we'd know right away. If you violate the rule, your reservation will be immediately canceled.
* For liability reasons, guests may NOT bring any visitors or any others to our home at any time, for any length of time. Only registered guests may enter the premises.
* This apartment is centrally located on a main street, some street noise is unavoidable. If you are expecting country quiet at night, this may not be a fit for you.
* There is an outdoor security camera monitoring the street entrance to the house for everyone's safety.

The host made check in easy by providing all necessary information prior to our arrival. The space was clean, quiet and as described. Street parking was easy & available. Close to many restaurants, stores & easy to access 405 freeway.

Spotless and functional

This place was incredibly clean and beautiful, there was a spare, attractive decor but with everything you need. Mieko was extremely responsive to our questions and kind. Comfortable kitchen we actually used. I would definitely stay here again.

I'm sorry to hear about the inconvenience. We found out that the sliding shower door accidentally has derailed. But everything is fixed now. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Nice spacious apartment

We globally enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is spacious, very clean and well equipped. The owners are also taking into account reviews from previous guests for improving the amenities (a window fan was installed before our stay, following a previous review that the apartment can be quite warm). The temperature was fine for us (especially at night), but we did not stay in the apartment during the day. The apartment is located few streets away from a large shoping mall (good), and alongside a busy road (meaning that it is be quite noisy, particularly during rush hour). Overall our rating is positive.

AMAZING APARTMENT

Wouw!!! After a trip of 3 hours we were glad to arrive at our destination in Torrance. We knew from the pictures (on VRBO site) that the apartment was goed BUT we didn't expect it to be so nice , big and so clean. The apartment is equipped with all that a family needs to feel home. We regreted we took it for only 4 nights. My childreen ( 2 boys of 14 y) were delighted to have Netflix after a long day visiting Los Angeles. We did not see Mieko physically but you can feel her presence anytime. She always answers directly to any question. Thank you Mieko for renting us your wanderful apartment

Great location

The apartment is in a very convenient location. It is close to the beaches and very close to 405 highway. Apartment is well furnished and supplied. The owner is very accomodating and nice. Unfortunately, the time we were in LA temperatures were pretty high and the unit does not have the airconditioning. The unit cools down nicely at night, but we were a bit hot in the afternoon. Overall, I would definitly come back in the cooler time of the year.

Owners are wonderful---clean--fairly close to the beach

We would have given this a much higher rating had it not been for the following which we felt is VERY important. Noise Noise Noise----from the stairway leading up to the apartment to the busy 4 lane street is only 100 feet. The kitchen window and main bedroom window are in the 100 ft line. There is traffic day and night and the noise is horrible. The 2nd bedroom on the back of the apartment is only 30 ft away from the street and 20 ft away from the wall that separates the apt from the huge and noisy CVS and health club parking lot. This property DOES NOT HAVE AC. We were offered a small fan and we had to KEEP THE WINDOWS SHUT at night with just the fan to cool off. I had to sleep with earplugs the whole time and it was so warm never did get a good nights sleep.The second bedroom bed has a frame that sits on the floor with a 4in futon mattress which is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced with a regular bed with a good box springs and mattress. If noise is not a problem and you do not care if it has no AC than this is the place for you. The owners are kind and generous to a fault and the location and noise is certainly not their fault, however I would certainly install AC for the summer months.

Truly our home away

Great place

The location was perfect right off the freeway and close enough to the ocean and yet not as expensive. The apartment was the perfect size with a wonderful common area. The host was nice enough to leave coffee and tea out for us to use. Everyone who was with me who stayed all stated that they would gladly come back to this location every time they travel to LA.

Beautiful apartment

Apartment is in ecxellent conditions, everything looks new. It has everything you need, full kitchen and utensils, washer/dryer, wifi, cable tv, roku. Owner was very helpful and made suggestion on places to visit.

Simply Amazing

This place is excellent. It's extreme close to I-405 freeway which is convenient and accesible. Meiko is a really nice host and answers every question you might have promptly. The place looks exactly like in the pictures and has a really cool vibe to it plus you get free wifi and roku tv. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a week or more in LA.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Meiko & her husband were extremely nice, and always made sure we had the things we needed! The apartment is located right in the heart of Torrance. There is a mall, grocery store and the 405 freeway is all within a miles radius of the apartment. The next time I'm in L.A. I will definitely be staying here again!
