We love the views and proximity of the beach. There is nothing like listening to the waves crash during our stay, and watching the sunrise from our balcony. Beacher's Lodge has a huge pool to lounge around as well. What a quiet area to relax , yet close enough to all the excitement at St. Augustine.

St. Augustine Night Of Lights

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Did a quick weekend getaway with my wife to see the Saint Augustine night of lights. The place was perfect for a couple or a small family. Conveniently located away from the congestion of Saint Augustine. About 15 min drive to the parking lot for the shuttle into town. Great beach access and a very nice pool.

First: what we didnt like;We didn't realize that there wasn't a dishwasher. I wound up buying a dish pan and some bleach so my wife could wash the few dishes that we were going to use and sterilize them. We used our own silverware. paper plates and bowls. Also, there were no hangers in the closet, so we bought some and left them there (along with the dish pan and bleach) for the next guests. Cushions on outdoor chairs need replacing (they wete flat). TV volume wasn't very loud in the livingroom. Bedroom could use some shears or blinds on the windows underneath the blackout curtains. Microwave was new, but worked different than what we're used to.We loved the location. Decor was cute. Bed was comfy, updates were good, and towels were high quality. We wanted a quiet vacation and that's what we got.

Beacher’s Lodge is well located. It is adjacent to the public beach, so the beach is quite busy. Be prepared for vehicles on the beach. This is one of the few remaining locations in Florida where vehicles are permitted to drive on the beach. The room is well located in the complex. Easy access to the elevator, pool, and beach walkway. Be prepared for stairs up from the parking lot to access the elevator, 19 steps. The room is well stocked with what you need for a few days at the beach. The furniture is comfortable. It is quite small. But sufficient for two adults.I would return here for another stay.
