Excellent place for a group gathering. Kitchens fully stocked, the indoor pool and sauna were wonderful. Beautiful property, would definitely stay again.
One of the best weekends of our family and friends lives. We went to celebrate my moms 60th birthday and it was her vibe to a t. The house is so spread out, that if you need a loud side and quite side for little kids it helps alot. I wish we stayed longer to explore the area more. The host was an absolute gem of a human, and so available and personable.
This is a large, rambling rural venue surrounded by incredible natural beauty. It’s not hard to get to, but very remote - you won’t have to worry about neighbors complaining like some other sites. The kitchens had everything we needed and more. The screened porch lets you enjoy the evening without worrying about bugs. If you appreciate a rustic retreat, you should check it out.
Our family had such a wonderful stay at the property! It was perfect for our large group of 13. There was so much room to spread out but also areas where we could all hang out together. The property is beautiful with all the outdoor space and orchard! Robert was also extremely communicative when questions came up before and during our stay. Overall, the house could use a few updates and is showing its age, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Just be prepared for septic!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Over priced
Good things: kitchen well stocked, beds were fine, projector and big screen, orchard, gazebo and wildlife. Bad things: junk everywhere outside, needs lots of maintenance, kind of dumpy, over priced
We had a large family reunion. Sleeping arrangements were as described. Kitchens ready for use. Clean towels and sheets. The kids had fun in the pool. It was a fun time together. Glad for a place that had enough room for our large group. Rustic cabin has a beautiful alpine living room and a smaller bunk house. For some people it was more like indoor camping, but altogether a positive experience. Beautiful property and fun hikes in the back mountains. Flowers were lovely in the field.
This place met my family’s needs for a fun get-together weekend. Lots of space, well stocked kitchen, plenty of parking and not too far from outdoor activities. I will say it was unfortunate that none of the windows were operable. Seems like a safety hazard and it made some of the bedrooms impossible to cool at night. Also, the trails on the property were all overgrown and impassable. Overall though, it was a good stay. Would recommend.
