Enjoy this spacious and tastefully furnished 1400 square foot home with beautiful views of 22 acre Horseshoe Lake in the heart of Long Creek, SC.

Perfect location for members of the wedding party to stay either before or after the nuptials at Chattooga Belle Farm!

Ideal spot to relax after an exciting day on the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River, hiking or biking in the Sumter National Forest, or flying through the trees after a canopy tour at Wildwater's Chattooga Adventure Center. Bicyclists, Oconee County, SC provides hundreds of miles of rural roads. One can easily take a fifty or one hundred mile bike ride from Long Creek through some of the most beautiful countryside that the Southern Appalachians has to offer. Waterfall trails abound, some as nearby as under five miles!

Relax on the deck or in the hot tub, overlooking the lake. Included with rental: 2 sit-on-top kayaks, 2 Stand Up Paddleboards, 1 tandem canoe, paddles and life jackets.

View the lake from the Master Bedroom with a King Sized Bed, HD TV, ceiling fan, en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi Tub/shower and large walk in closet.

High speed Internet is included!

Sleeping Loft has a King Sized Bed, two single beds, HD TV, ceiling fan, and reading lamps.

Check-in is at 4 PM. Check-out is at 11 AM.

Linens and towels are provided, so all you need to bring are your clothes and enough food to satisfy your hunger after an adventurous day in and around Long Creek and the Chattooga River.

A FEW CONSIDERATIONS:
• No one under 25 years old is allowed to rent. Renting on behalf of guests less than 25 years old is strictly prohibited. The financially responsible party signing the rental agreement must be at least 25 years old, and must be an occupant of the house during the term of the agreement.
LIMIT - 6 occupants
• No pets, no smoking.
• No house parties. Horseshoe Lake is in a pristine and quiet residential area. Please be mindful of our shared neighbors during your stay and understand that this home is not suitable for loud noise or parties.
• Recommended Items to Bring: Groceries (the closest grocery is in Clayton, GA, or Westminster, SC, each is a 20 minute drive), fishing poles and floats, swimsuits and sunscreen.

This was the perfect stay to relax in after our wedding weekend! It was super close to Chattooga Belle Farm so it made coming home after the wedding super easy and convenient. The Hosts were super helpful prior to our stay answering questions and even allowed us an early check in! I would highly recommend this stay if you’re attending a wedding at the farm, wanting a nice summer lake house get away or just some peace and quiet! We loved using the canoe for a romantic lake picnic and the hot tub was a great way to unwind from wedding stress!

A Relaxing Getaway

Thomas and Tina are wonderful hosts - this cabin has everything you could want or need to have a comfortable and fun stay on the lake. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, beautiful landscaping and lakeside setting, and the peace and quiet. Always a treat!

Beautiful place!

We loved this cabin and location! The cabin is outfitted with anything and everything a family would need to stay, cook and have a great time. The location is gorgeous and very peaceful. The weather was amazingly perfect while we were there and it was a nice break from the scorching heat in FL. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this is one of the best!

Great cabin on the lake!

We were in town for a wedding at Chota Falls, and this cabin was perfect! About 20-25mins from the venue, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend! We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful cabin

We rented several properties in this area bc our extended family was coming in for a wedding. This was by far the nicest property we rented out for the week. If we return to the area we will definitely rent here again.

The house was great in every way! Our family enjoyed the lake, house, and hot tub. It is minutes to the Wildwater Rafting. I highly recommend. We will be back for Section 4!

Long Weekend Away

Such a great location! Our boys have been begging to come back to fish this lake again, and they caught even more this time! Loved going out on canoe, SUPs and kayaks! Cabin is absolutely perfect, has everything you need, very well-organized and super clean 😀 The deck with all outdoor seating is my favorite!

The pictures are a great representation of the property. Very clean with lots of equipment to enjoy the lake. Very close to Wildwater rafting adventures meeting place. Tina was great to work with and quick to respond to questions.

Peaceful and Pleasant!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and loved everything about the cabin and the property. The cabin is nicely decorated and comfortable. It is well-stocked with everything you need plus fun extras, such as paddle boards, a canoe, and corn hole. The yard is beautiful as well. We found fun things to do in the area but could have stayed at the cabin the whole time and enjoyed our trip.

Our hosts have a beautiful cabin on the lake. It’s very tastefully furnished with cheerful pops of color. The woodwork is gorgeous too. The deck and dock call you to linger all Day but the lake and nearby trails and rivers are places you want to play as well. We would come back again and stay longer.

My daughter got married at the venue across the lake It was a great location for that and a great place to relax. The place was clean and had everything we need. The only negative was the mattress in the master suite

We love the Upstate SC and have lived here for over 40 years. We are active in the community, enjoy rafting and kayaking on the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River. Hiking to the numerous waterfalls is one of our favorite pastimes. Our favorite dinner spots are in the nearby town of Clayton, GA, just a 15 minute drive.
We love gardening and have enjoyed planting trees and flowers around this lakeside home.

Why they chose this property

The location, near whitewater rafting on the Chattooga River and wedding venue Chattooga Belle Farm make this the ideal property for a great getaway. The lake front home is a bonus for summer fun activities for families and groups alike. Swimming, kayaking and paddle-boarding on Horseshoe Lake are relaxing summer fun for the whole family. Nearby accomodation for wedding parties; only three minutes from Chattooga Belle Farm, and whitewater rafting at Wildwater.

What makes this property unique

Unique to this area of the Upstate are the many wonderful waterfall hikes. Close to the mountain towns of Clayton, GA, Westminster and Walhalla, SC, including Highlands and Cashiers, NC - all are just a mountain drive away. Peace and quiet for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. (No motors are allowed on the lake, just trolling motors.) Two hours drive from Atlanta, GA and only 1-1/2 hour from Greenville, SC.
