They charged me 100 to checkin 4 hrs early and I had no clue until the checkin time. The toilet had to be jiggled everytime used and the inside of tank was molded and stunk. There are no overhead lights above either table so eating and playing games at night was difficult. Room is dated and not being cleaned well. There was dust under furniture and on air vents. Pool was closed all but the last day due to other outside work being done.

Great short vacation

We just came down for a long weekend to check out the area and enjoy the beach! There is so much to see in this area and Orange Beach definitely need more time than a long weekend. Property was clean and no issues. We enjoyed being able to walk out to the beach thru the pool area.

Condo is really outdated. The view is great of the beach. Walls are paper thin just pray you don’t have anyone in the adjoining units with small kids because you won’t sleep (ask me how I know) It’s also next to the trash chute so every time someone takes trash out you know it. When they say check in time is 4:00 it’s 4:00 not 3:30 it’s 3:59 so don’t plan to arrive early. Unit had all the necessities needed. King bed is atrocious. You’d be better off sleeping on floor. Queen bed however is comfortable. There is NO balcony it’s a sunroom.

Thank you for staying at Edgewater West 62. I’m sorry your stay fell short of expectations. I’ve flagged your reservation with our operations, maintenance, and housekeeping teams to investigate and address the items you mentioned: the unit’s age/updates, noise from adjoining units and the nearby trash chute (we’ll review soundproofing and building coordination), the king bed comfort (we’ll assess and repair/replace as needed), and the listing accuracy regarding the balcony vs sunroom. We’ll also review our check-in messaging to ensure the 4:00 PM time and early-arrival expectations are clear. Please message us through Vrbo with your stay dates and any photos or additional details so we can review the reservation and discuss appropriate compensation. — Liquid Life

Just know early check in is a complete rip. They wanted 150 to check in 2hrs early. That's more than a nights stay! Also the pool isn't heated. The location is amazing tho. You won't be disappointed! And bring toilet paper. You only get 2 rolls lol

Great Place for the Money!

Nice little place with a great location. Loved the large window with the ocean view. It made up for the lack of balcony. Location was nice. Loved that we could walk directly out to the ocean. The building was a bit run down. Needs updating in the bathrooms. Uncomfortable bed, the couch cushions were completely sunk into the couch and the tv would constantly turn off repeatedly. The view made up for it all.

Edgewater West 62 is just steps from the beach over a small boardwalk. It's close to everything in town which is nice. The condo itself could use a little refreshed paint and some updated furniture but there wasn't anything that I would say hindered our stay. It had everything we needed; except sheets and pillows for the pullout couch but our 6 year old grandson just slept on the couch (not pulled out) with his blanket from home and a couch pillow. I'm sure if we had contacted the rental company they would have resolved the "issue" but it wasn't that big of a deal to us so we didn't bother to call them. Other than that it was fine for our needs. All in all we had a great stay at Edgewater West 62.

The overall property was fine. The only issue was the elevator stopped working the 3rd day there. It would randomly stop working. Otherwise, we had a great stay.
